and thats an almost full 8x8... other 8x8 maps limit where you can go..... this looks like you can go to the very corners of the map.
Yeap!
Has there been any news about the extremely bright light seen in the gameplay trailer? At about 1:33 in this video.
No, could be how the sun looks behind the bluezone and the 40 lighting effects added to the trailer
I like the look of this.
I'm excited to explore the map. Especially the on-foot rotation gameplay in the northern hilly areas and highlinds on the edges of the map.
Should make for some great medium-long distance sniper fights!

I could not get rid of the subtitle so I thought I'd repurpose the space a little!
Let me know if I missed anything.
When they say it releases on Dec 6th, is that on the test server or live?
Live! No test server for Rondo.
As someone who likes playing on foot and using the terrain instead of buildings, this map looks fantastic. Quite a lot of elevation as well.
Was a bit skeptical before, but now I'm actually curious to try it.
I love that as well, long range battles are my favorite. I dread cqc
I agree that is seems a bit low on buildings, but I've had an issue with too many buildings on other maps. So maybe this balance suits me better. Looking forward to get my hands on it!
Yaep
2 identical places next to each other both named hung shan seems like an early build to me
Oh thats a fail on my part, I removed a black subtitle bar (screenshot from the subbed video) and the terrain got duplicated down there.
This screenshot was shared in today's "making of rondo" video.
It isn't high res and I'm hopeful that there is some missing info / data as well because.. it feels like there are a lot of empty patches of land, especially in the middle of the map, with no compounds around any of the POIs.
The map feels empty to me looking at it in this screenshot.
Yes
Yes
Yes
No lol
- Miramar as permanent map
- Remove thermal scopes
- Prioritize reviving over item pickups or closing doors
I'M READING
Thanks for the answer, I guess we'll find out when they are ready to jump into online matches. Still playing the 10 bot training matches. It is tough to watch for me lol
They only need to play 1 of those 10 by doing all 3 or so missions that are required.
How does that work if a newbie teams up with an experienced player, say I recruit a complete beginner to PUBG and want to teach them the game in Duo/Squad, do we get into a beginners lobby or does that bypass the system due to my MMR?
Afaik it should bypass it. But they will end up back in the beginners queue when they queue up alone again. Also, this is per queue type separate, solo, duo & squad will be all reset/new until the person climbs out of the beginners queue. I could be wrong, and that can be tested with what you suggested there :)
Yeah you aren’t lying, 80% of the players in your matches are bots every game. What time do you normally play at?
If thats the case then its either a case of a brand new or returning player with no or reset "mmr".
All you need to do is play a few matches, win, kill real players and you'll graduate to regular lobbies with uncapped human players.
New player lobbies have capped 20 human players and minimum 80 bots.
