So I recently was able to buy back Rainbow Extraction but now after this recent update/maintenance, I am having a tough time playing with my controller, not being able to recognize the controller no matter whether it's connected or Bluetooth, has anyone else had this problem, I've closed, reset my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the game only for it not to work still. If anyone has had this problem and were able to fix it I would greatly appreciate the help if possible. Hope you have a good day!!

So like I said in the last discussion I'm having major problems with my controller being recognized on Extraction. Every other game on Ubisoft works perfectly fine, but on Extraction, the second I don't press anything on controller instantly goes back to mouse and keyboard button layout which makes it difficult to open doors, take down targets and get stealth kills, when trying to ADS it randomly takes me out of ADS especially when trying to kill proteans, Sensitivity no matter how many times I adjust on controller and mouse and keyboard either makes me do 360 in seconds or beyond slow and doesn't stay consistant. If anyone else is having this bug and was able to fix it please let me know. Or Ubisoft bug team I love this game and was able to play it before without having any problems could you please fix this bug!?!?

Heya @Rinzler617 , welcome to Discussions! Thanks for reaching out about this. I understand you've had trouble getting Extraction to recognise your gamepad since our recent update - sorry about that 😞 I'll be happy to help you get this resolved.

It's likely you'll be able to solve this issue with the steps from our troubleshooting guide. In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running the game with administrator rights, you've verified the game files, you've got your Windows install fully updated, and you don't have any background programs which could interfere with the game. It could be that our recent update changed something that needed equivalent updates to something else, such as Windows or your background programs, so those steps will help to rule this out.

Please also make sure you don't have any other peripherals connected, such as other gamepads, flight sticks, or VR hardware - these can also interfere sometimes, so it'll be good to rule those out as well.

If the issue persists after those steps, please see the system files support article. The two files it describes have some system information that can be really useful in diagnosing issues. We can't use them here on the forum, though, so the next step would be to contact our support team directly so you can send the files across. If it comes to that, please also include a link to this forum thread, so the agent responding can see what has already been suggested.
