[2022] Redirected to link?

So I just tried to purchase Rainbow Six Extraction through the Ubisoft Connect app on my PC, and once I get to the section where it wants me to fill out my billing information, whenever I click on the State dropdown, it opens my browser and redirects my PC to three facebook links, that seem pretty untrustworthy and phishy. I can post the links it redirects here if need be, but I'd rather not put them out there for people to click. Does anyone know if this is because of a virus I may have gotten on my PC, or is this possibly a domain hack or redirect that is a problem to more than just me?
