[2022] Lost connection to server - penalty still applied

Hi, I was just playing a mission in San Francisco and I think Ubisoft/R6 Extraction had a 1 or 2 minute interruption with the servers (prompting the error server connection message, clicking retry resulted in the same window/message)
I immediately alt+tabbed into a browser to see if I had lost internet myself, but no, looked like a minor server communication hiccup(dunno if my ISP with R6 or if R6/UBI)
Now my agent (Vigil) is MIA and I lost progress.
Is there any solution to this? I was almost level 17 ;( now I have to carefully (with randoms) rescue Vigil MIA to not lose the XP and be even further back.
