Bought the game a couple of hours ago; yesterday I tried out the trial version (2h of playtime) and had no issues whatsoever.
Instead today I cannot progress further than the opening cutscene, since the game cannot connect to the R6 Extraction Servers.
The full error text reads: "The Rainbow Six Extraction Servers are unreachable. The game requires an online connection. Please try again later. For more information contact https://www.ubisoft.com/help.". Under this text there is what I assume is an error code: [ECHO-80050001].
I looked up the code but found nothing about that specific string. Also tried checking files integrity, checking and cycling internet connection, restarting my pc and reinstalling the game in full. No luck so far, and I should point out that my internet connection works fine, and that other games in the Ubisoft laucher work correctly (namely Rainbow Six Siege).
I would like some direction on what to do next. Seems to me the R6 Extraction servers are down, but I haven't found any confirmation, so the problem could be on my end.

Hi @Odraode_ @G_ia_n @blackstorm-01 I'm sorry to hear that you have experienced issues connecting to the Rainbow Six Extraction servers.

There was a degradation yesterday that affected multiple games, the issue has since been resolved.

Could you please try again and confirm if the issue persists?
