Yes, TKing groups may continue to be an issue with the reverse FF change, that's a good point. Thank you for the suggestion, I will be adding this whole thread to my report and the hard feedback is very appreciated!... Read more

My understanding is that it does not require an actual kill, it's just that in the video the first damage was a headshot so it's misleading. The earlier video shown during the broadcast shows it a little clearer.

Hello all!

News on incoming changes during Y4:
After your first team kill in a match, you will enter a "reverse friendly fire" state. This means, anytime you attack a friendly from that point in the match, you will have that damage instead reflected back at you.

Explanation with in-game example:

I'd love to hear some feedback and reactions to this change! Let us hear your thoughts!

-----UPDATE-----

The Dev blog with more details is here! There are a few new changes, including the new option to forgive a TK if you believe it was unintentional.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts BlackBeardNerf,

I'd like to offer a few counterpoints to your claims:

1.) Though Kaid and Bandit have gadgets that electrify objects, they function in different ways that allow them to serve similar but different purposes. For example, Kaid cannot "Bandit trick" a surface, which can be a very strong counter to a hardbreacher in many scenarios. They also have different loadouts and armor/speed ratings to consider — someone may prefer Bandit for his speed advantage.

2.) Clash and Montagne both have full-sized shields but they work very differently. Clash cannot fold her shield to use a secondary weapon while still protected, Montagne has the ability to engage with a firearm without exposing himself completely. Montagne also has a distinct advantage over Clash in that his extended shield cannot be knocked back by anything besides a disorienting effect, Clash can be overwhelmed by melee strikes.

3.) Mira... Read more

Yes, people say lots of things on the internet. I personally think "Kaid killed Bandit" is more of a meme than a reality.

Recently, we have seen a rise of players encountering abusive crouch and lean spamming. To counter this, the team is actively working on how we want to approach the problem and planning our next steps.

We are currently prototyping a few systems to address this. More details will be shared about our exact methodology as we draw closer to a final version.

Turning off Friendly-Fire has never been on the table, as far as I know, because of how much of an impact it would have on the core gameplay.

The current TK punishment system is definitely not perfect and the team is aware of some of the issues that can arise with squads abusing the buffer.

Saying the system encourages bullying seems a bit harsh, what about it specifically do you feel entices players to TK?

I've seen many players suggest something along the lines of "Punish/Forgive" options after you've been TK'd, would something like that fix the problem in your eyes?

Interesting concept and thanks for the suggestion! I'd like to know everyone else's thoughts on increasing wall reinforcements and if you agree with OP's ideas. If you do, what are some other benefits to increasing wall reinforcements and preparation time?

I'd advise that if you run into a player who is being toxic, especially towards you, it is better to report them here: http://ubi.li/4kax2

Our Level Designers are excited to finally present a fortress map for a game with Siege in its name. This large daytime map features a mudbrick kasbah and iconic architecture unique to the southern region of Morocco. The imposing main entrance greets all visitors with its two towers and Kasbah Sehkra Mania written above the archway.

Based on real and existing structures, the many exterior stairs provide unprecedented access to the roof and drop-down points via the towers. Housed within the fortified and bare walls of the Kasbah are two floors of living and training space, each with its distinct rooms and halls. The multiple stairs and a ladder allow for rotations between floors. The map offers a variety of open space, points of cover, and lines of sight for both close and long range engageme... Read more

I wish I could add to this convo, but I haven't gotten any info about any possible implementation with DLSS going forward.
I'll make sure to share this request in my report, though!

Thank you for the feedback! What are some items you all would like to see added for alpha packs? I'll run it by the team and see if some of these can implemented in the future.

As Morfanos already mentioned, we do not disclose the specifics on ban "cool downs."

There is a period after which your ban-level will go back down, but we do not give the details in order to prevent further exploitation of the system.
