Hello, I encountered such a problem that when the game appears, or when leaving the match, or when the result after the match is back to the main menu, the charts for July are always reset. At the same time, with stroking, there is T-AA-4x stroking, which, at a scaling value of 100, should give out stroking 4k, that is, 3840x2160, but it only produces 1360x764, and in order to fix this at the beginning of each match, you have to go into and switch everything to a lower one and apply them , then switch back and apply again. I was looking for solutions in the upcoming Russian-speaking one, but everywhere there are the same tips that do not solve the problem. I hope very much for your help! Thank you in advance.

Hey there @Classified-exe, it seems like you're running into a bit of trouble with your graphical and display settings being reset each time you launch the game.

I would recommend uninstalling Rainbow Six Siege and Ubisoft Connect, then reinstalling Ubisoft Connect by following the instructions here.

Afterwards, when you run the program make sure you run it with administrator privileges. Once the program is running that way you can install Rainbow Six Siege again.

Please let me know if your settings keep getting reset after this.

@Classified-exe Thanks for the update! If you haven't yet, please try the basic troubleshooting steps from this FAQ.

If the issue persists, can you please check if your game settings file isn't set to read-only? If you have Rainbow Six Siege installed to its default location, you can find the game in this file location: C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\\GameSettings.ini

After that, right click the GameSettings.ini file and select "Properties". Click on the General tab. Under "Attributes", You should be able to see a box next to the "Read-only" option. Please uncheck the box if it is checked. Please launch the game and test to see if your graphics settings still aren't saving.

@Classified-exe sorry to see your settings are still getting reset. If you have multiple different folders under Documents\My Games\Rainbow Six - Siege\ you will need to apply the changes to each GameSettings.ini file for each folder. If the same issue remains, is it only your settings for the resolution that gets reset? Or are all changed settings automatically reverted to default?

Hey @Classified-exe! For testing purposes, you might be able to try the following:

  • Save a copy of your GameSettings.ini file to a different location, for example your desktop
  • Delete GameSettings.ini from the folder it was previously located in
  • Start the game, change your settings, maybe even play a Situation, and then close the game again
  • A new version of GameSettings.ini should now be generated in your folder

Please let me know if this works for you!

Hey @Classified-exe

Sorry to hear the issue is ongoing for you. The next thing I would have you try if you could, try uninstall the game and Ubisoft Connect, then create a new Windows Admin account on your computer. Once you have done this, log in on that new account and reinstall Ubisoft Connect and the game. If you can try installing them on a different drive to before, please also try doing this. Let us know if you still have the issue again when launching the game on this new admin account.
