a message pops up saying to reconnect to a ranked match when I try to play ranked and there was never a match I was put in. I tried a few hours later and it still says reconnect. when I try to reconnect I just sit in queue indefinitely. my gametag is "knocked up ned"

Hey jmgeraci! I recommend trying to clear the cache on your Xbox. To do this, unplug the Xbox for two minutes. If that doesn't help, you can try these steps. If none of that helps, please create a ticket with a screenshot of your forwarded ports.

Hey there RupertMaximis, sorry to hear about that.

Were you able to try any of the steps linked above?

But it would also be nice to be able to play.
Hello!

Just to clarify... When this happens, does it say you need to reconnect forever despite all of these steps, or does it eventually give you an abandonment sanction? I'm trying to understand if the game truly believes you are in a match, or if the button is simply not working.

Hey GameBoy176,

Thank you for sharing your solution to this with us.

If any other players experience this on Xbox, please try to sign out of your account with the game launch, then sign back into your account and let us know if this workaround temporarily solves the issue for you?
