Respectfully disagree! I think these changes are going to make the experience in Casual Playlists way better. How often do people bail on a match after going down by one goal with four minutes left on the clock? If we can discourage early leavers who bail in situations like that, the quality of play in Casual will see a big jump in the right direction.

Leaving early/conceding should be a team decision, and the option to leave before 0:00 still remains with the new Vote to Concede option being added in this update.

Any updates on in-game voice chat?

No updates as we're pretty early in the process on that.

It was not an influence as Sideswipe began production in Spring of 2018

Thanks so much for saying that! We've still got a few things to share about the upcoming season that I think players will be happy about.

I'll definitely bring the idea up. Perhaps a toggle in your settings to turn it on and off? But I can tell you with certainty this isn't something that could find its way into Season 4.

Will the Tournament Winner Titles for Extra Modes be different from the 2v2/3v3 titles? It would be good to make that distinction

The same title will be granted across all three tournament categories.

With this change I hope they actually start preventing a 2-stack from joining 3s tournaments.

Parties of 2 will be able to join a 3v3 tournament, but we're putting some new party rules in place to help keep teams balanced. We'll talk about it more in the patch notes next week.
