We're looking into an issue with one of the data centers we use in EU that's been contributing to a lot of the high-ping EU posts on here recently.
This should be happening way less frequently as of an hour or so ago.
We put a temporary rate-limit on progression due to heavy load during Lucky Lanterns. This is why XP earned in a match was not showing up at the end of the match, but might appear in the main menu or elsewhere in the game several minutes later. No XP was lost during this rate-limit, it was only appearing late. Thanks, all, and sorry for the trouble!

Hey guys, one of our EU datacenters experienced a short performance issue that resulted in high ping and packet loss for players.
This has since been resolved, but we are investigating the issue to avoid seeing the same problem in the future.

I am not sure I understand. If the player above didn't have power, I think they would have other things to worry about besides game updates on Xbox. We aren't talking about power at the player's house, in this case.
A massive power outage in Texas and several other states (happening right now) is going to affect how Internet traffic is routed around the country, which in turn may affect latency and download/upload speeds, depending on where you live and where the servers are.
To reiterate, when you are updating a game on consoles or Steam, those download files are hosted on servers run by those platforms. If there is a slow download occurring, be it once in a while or every time you go to update a game, that is not something we control.
These unlock on set dates. The next stage will unlock on March 3rd for everyone. We're also looking into adding some quality of life changes in a future update that will make it easy to see when the next stage will unlock.
Polycarb was added to player accounts by mistake. It will return as a customization item in a future update.

Devin, this issue has been an issue for the longest time, since over a year ago (I think introduced in v 1.68 or earlier). It was reported several times, and even at one point included in the known issues blog. But it got removed but the issue was not actually fixed. The Visionary wheels have the issue in both the menu and in game. See this comment I made in Oct 2019, with links to other comments about it:

Hi! Sorry to see the slow download speeds. It looks like you're playing on Xbox? Regarding the other party you mention, download files for games on consoles are not sent to you from us directly. They are sent from servers used by Microsoft, Sony, and so on. If you're having issues with slow downloads, I recommend troubleshooting your own network, or starting a conversation with Xbox Support.
