Hey guys, we're investigating some issues that are causing players to have problems connecting to PsyNet. I'll update when there's more information to share.

edit-2: Most players should be able to join back in with no issues. We are still investigating the cause of the outage, so we are limiting the number of players that can jump back in at once.

Thank you for bringing this Club to our attention, we're taking care of it now. We do filter for Club names like this, and we're looking into why this one wasn't caught.

How would you go about calling someone out for something without giving an example of what they did?

You give the example to our Customer Care team by sending in a ticket, or send us a DM on here so we can take down the club and investigate the players. You don't need to expose player names to the entire subreddit, which is in violation of the subreddit rules (witch-hunting).

Even if I run it on a 1440p monitor it would require 2.1??? /u/psyonix_devin

I would definitely try it before you invest in a new display or cable. Talking to our graphics engineer, it sounds like you can do 120 fps at 1080p if you're on a 1440p display with HDMI 2.0.

Regardless of what happens, shoot me a DM once you have your Series X and let me know if 120 fps works!

If I understand correctly, the new Xbox consoles still treat this like a 4K 120 signal coming in - while the gameplay might not be full 4K, the Xbox UI, etc. will be -- which is why HDMI 2.1 is needed. This is a platform-level requirement, so I think other titles on Xbox Series S|X that offer 120 fps will require HDMI 2.1 to access the same kind of performance as well.

I think this falls under "Finally, we know some folks will pop into this thread and ask about Tournaments, and please know that we’ve seen all of your feedback during this season, and we’re working on some capacity and scheduling changes. Hi pal, it's fixed now, turns out the issue was transferring games from the external drive to the Internal SSD was causing this. As soon as I stopped copying games over it stopped. Hope this is helpful.

Hiya! Sorry to hear about this, and I have a few troubleshooting questions. Have you tried changing any graphics options around? Also, is this only happening in online matches, or does it happen when playing against bots, too?

Will we ever be able to see others messages in game that are on another Platform?

PS5 and PS4 should be able to chat in-game, but current cross-platform chat restrictions will still exist.

What’s better to chose quality or performance?

It really depends on what you personally prioritize -- higher frames or more pixels. I would definitely try both and see which you like better!
