i thought maybe bakkes mod so i turned it off and tested again, no change. then i verified the files and tried again. still not working. i found that if i turn vignette on to the first notch and leave everything else alone it makes the whole screen go black as well. only other thing im running is discord. Oh and OBS replay buffer. would that do it?
Try it with OBS off for now?

No you shouldn't have lost all of your cosmetics. Do you mean you lost all of the items in your inventory or do you mean all of the presets were reset?
One thing I can think of that may have happened is if you created an Epic Games account and linked your Xbox to it, the Epic Games account was set as the primary instead of the Xbox account, in which case you should be able to just log into Epic games and set your Xbox as the primary.
