Do you have a update on the switch release?
No update yet. We want to come to Switch eventually but it is not actively in development at the moment.
What are 1047s long term aspirations?
Long term we want to grow 1047 Games into a large scale gaming studio with multiple games across multiple genres and multiple platforms. Short term, we are focused on building out our team so that we can take Splitgate to the next level. There's a lot more we can do with this kind of budget than ever before, but we need to get the pieces in place first.
did you ever believe in your wildest dreams that Splitgate would ever grow so big?
I expected it to grow this big but not this fast! In fact, I expect it to grow much bigger in the future, but right now we are in company building mode and focusing on long term goals, more so than just continuing to try to grow Splitgate today.
what new guns will be coming in the future
So far we have 1 new gun in the works! Not ready to share specifics but I will say it definitely has some unique characteristics to Splitgate

Your 4v4 ranked matches are different from your 3v3 takedown ranked matches! You will do separate placements and receive separate ranks!

Custom has bots though. I want an empty map. You also can't do races on takedown maps. And as I stated in my post, I don't want crazy long times on my runs while I'm learning the map.
There is actually a setting to remove bots and therefore have an empty map to practice around in.

You’re actually able to practice on all of the maps in customs! Head over to the main menu > play > customs (on the top middle of the screen)
Races are also a very good way to practice every map while also providing a bit of a challenge for you and your friends!

There are a variety of game modes, but it can go up to a party of four!
You can also run custom matches up to 10 people (5v5)
