@Marakkel There are some parts of the ruins that actively descrease the number of districts but can give other beneficial bonuses. :)
@kitafrum They do until they don't. You can restore them to their former glory via a planetary decision. They can be Ecumenopolises again, and those come with different districts. :)
@israndomasis @Nerrgal Relic Worlds have unique planetary features. Some common, some rare. Each of them gives different things. It might bean access to more districts or a unique bonus.
Since they're basically Ecumenopolises that lie in ruins, they can also be restored to their former glory. :)
A Relic World can be colonized and inhabited, but the surface is littered with ruins of the destroyed planet-wide city. To establish a functioning colony, you'll need to do a little more cleaning than on other planets.
