I hated that everyone could do it in BF3. I want to be able to specifically have one weapon less so that I could get more utility, like spotting, for example.
My favorite thing in BF5 is probably that I can finally use binoculars/scope to spot enemies. I almost always play on the flanks of the map as a commando/behind enemy lines disruptor. In my first game I just sat in the bushes and spotted all the enemies for my team :P
Spent most of the wknd playing @Battlefield V. It's technically great, like always. There's a couple of design decisions that annoy the hell out of me tho. I've rarely come across a mechanic that is so disruptive to the player experience as the way deserter zones are implemented.
