Shattered Hope will work with Eternal Winter, yes! It is however disabled for the Cold Rush (train escape) scenario, though, so keep that in mind :)

We've seen others achieve similar (and without the use of mods!) generally playing Brazil for the waste rock -> rare metal processing. @Surviving_PDX Iโm not sure how you would do this in reality. Maybe as Russia (RC driller) or at a push Brazil. Need the rare metals to get the machine parts, etc. Space elevator is up so I assume thereโs a mohole mine there as wellโฆ
Lots of commitment. Keeping the game on pause while you place objects as a 'blueprint'. We've seen at least a few people sketch out their colonies on paper before implementing them in the game....
