Today’s Update adds support for iOS14 and started rolling out over the last 24 hours. Some players may have seen the changes below over the last few days but today all players will be required to update to this latest version.

However, Piett’s fortunes would be forever changed after Ozzel’s dismissal took some air out of the room, leaving Piett in command. With Galactic Challenges, players will be presented with new battles that provide the opportunity to utilize many parts of their character and ship roster in a fun and meaningful way. Galactic Challenge events keep the game fresh and engaging by offering interesting and unique encounters that feature always-changing combinations of modifiers, locations, and conditions, along with multiple tiers of difficulty. Modifiers add a wide range of positive and negative effects to the battle, meaning you’ll have to mix up your strategies to succeed.

Mon Mothma, the Chancellor of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, is arriving on the Holotables! Mon Mothma's leadership and fearlessness propelled her to the top of the Empire’s “Most Wanted” list and served as an inspiration to all members of the Rebellion. Ever mindful of the consequences of war, but always willing to stand for justice, Mon Mothma is a welcome addition to Rebel squads as she uses the Field Promotion ability to summon increasingly stronger Rebel units to battle.

Few pairings in Star Wars have had each other’s backs like Threepio & Chewie, who are arriving as a unique combo on the Holotables! The bond forged on Cloud City between one of our favorite droids and Wookiees showed the Empire this unlikely duo is a force to be reckoned with. In addition to being a unique combination unit, Threepio & Chewie offer new gameplay strategies by providing both damage and support abilities, ramping damage, and afflicting Blind on enemies. Only an overgrown mophead would miss out on the chance to add Threepio & Chewie to their collection! So, don't do anything foolish and make sure to participate in the Marquee event, Escape From Cloud City.

Today’s Update improves many of the underlying technologies that we use to create Galaxy of Heroes. These significant tech upgrades enable us to continue to support this amazing game for years to come and bring you a Star Wars experience that’s better than ever.

It may seem like nothing has changed when you log in, but there are plenty of updates under the hood that allow for numerous improvements in the future. With a unified toolset and modernized APIs, these changes allow us to access more design tools and build a smoother process for developing new content. The updated version of Unity (the game engine used to create Galaxy of Heroes) expands the possibilities of what the designers can do when they create characters and events.

One of the most anticipated characters in Galaxy of Heroes, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, is joining the Holotables! Despite his humble beginnings as a moisture farmer on Tatooine making runs to Tosche Station for power converters, we always knew Luke Skywalker was destined for greater things. His victory over Jabba the Hutt was a mere hint at the strong bond Luke shared with the Force as a Jedi Knight, a lesson the Empire would later learn firsthand during the Battle of Endor.
