Star Forge is back online! Appreciate your patience with the issues players were seeing with how the GTN was functioning on the Star Forge server. There were reports of some auctions that were purchased on the GTN not arriving in the buyers’ Claim Window.

We have identified the issue and it has been fixed. For players whose items were impacted by this issue, credit and item refunds will be applied back onto their accounts during tomorrow’s maintenance.

Just wanted to pop in real quick and give you some more info about these since we haven’t released all of the details.

What are these exactly?

So these Armors and Weapons are new versions of existing ones that had randomized stats and that there was no other way to acquire their appearance in the game aside from existing world drops. These were no longer available to trade on the Galactic Trade Network due to the backend changes, but there are others that may not have been tradeable at all. There are a lot of them! Hundreds of weapons and over 2000 armor pieces. The sheer amount is why we didn’t post a detailed list.

Though patch notes will be available on Monday, I did want to let you all know about some highlights beforehand. 

Alongside Galactic Seasons 6, Date Night Companion Missions, and the opening of Character Transfers to the Shae Vizla server, the following will be coming with 7.4.1: 

• Outfits will now be included when characters are transferred between servers.
• Ancient Armaments Added To Daily Login Rewards
  • Ancient Armaments contain various armor appearances including ones that were difficult to be acquired and could not previously be traded.

Below are some commonly asked questions that we have seen pop up since the 7.4.1 livestream and the answers to them! 

• Can we use credits to purchase the additional three room unlocks? 
  • Yup! The initial 6 room unlocks are on the F2P and Sub tracks of season respectively as noted during the stream and then the other 3 rooms can be unlocked like a normal room in a Stronghold with either Cartel Coins or Credits.
• Do I have to buy the modernized Utility Bundles? 
  • Players who have the OG utility bundles do not need to purchase the modernized ones, they will just be updated with 7.4.1 launch.
• Will we increase the SH limit?
  • The limit is set as 20 and will not be increased at this time. 
• Will Guilds be able to set the new Copero stronghold as their Guild Stronghold?
  • Only...

We saw a lot of feedback come in from the weekend specifically around credits and the 90 consecutive day Subscriber limit since APAC launch for free transfers. We had some additional conversations based on what we’ve seen on the forums and other platforms, and will be making the following adjustments. 

• The credit limit will now be 15 million per character. 
• To qualify for the 16 free transfers to Shae Vizla, players must be a current Subscriber and have been an active Subscriber since January 2, 2024. 

Appreciate all of your comments. We’ll continue to keep an eye on feedback that comes in.

I’m back to give you more details on the character transfers to the Shae Vizla server. For this post, my aim is to confirm additional details and answer some questions we have seen floating around. 

Starting with the transfer requirements to Shae Vizla: 

• Characters will be required to have 2 million or less credits.
• If you try to transfer a character that has more than that amount, you will see an error message. 
• The character level minimum is 20. 

For the first 30 days after transfers open, there will be 16 free transfers available to Subscribers who meet the following criteria: 

• Are a current Subscriber
• Have been a Subscriber since APAC launch (November 17, 2023) for at least 90 consecutive days. 

For the first 90 days after transfers open, all Subscribers will receive a 50% discount (500 CC off) on transfers to the...

Giving you all a heads up that we’re doing some back-end maintenance this morning around 9:30am CT / 3:30pm UTC. We will not be taking down servers for this. However, it is possible that some players may experience issues logging for a 30 minute period once we start maintenance. This should have no impact on players who are currently logged in and playing unless they log out and try to log back in with another character. I'll update this thread when everything is complete!

Wanted to give you all a heads up regarding the enhanced dye packs that debuted with Game Update 7.4. Initially, we announced that they would be available over the holiday break until January 6th. We saw a lot of feedback from players wanting them to be made available more often, so we are testing out how often they appear on the Cartel Market. Some of you have noticed that a couple of them reappeared throughout January. To give more players a chance to purchase the dyes, we will be releasing all the enhanced dye packs for a week beginning February 6th.

• Metallic Black and Matte Black
• Matte Black and Metallic Black
• Metallic Gold and Chrome White
• Chrome White and Metallic Gold
• Pearlescent Red and Metallic Black
• Metallic Black and Pearlescent Red

After February 13th, the dyes will be released two at a time on a weekly rotation on the Cartel Market...
