  • We’re carrying out a set of improvements to Tamer Pass experience gain:
    • Battles against NPC Tamers will now give Tamer Pass experience. This experience has been added to all of your passes retroactively.
      • While Weekly Challenges and endgame activities, unlocked after completing the story campaign, will still be the easiest and main form of progressing through the Tamer Pass, it was a mistake to leave people progressing through the campaign out of it.
      • With this change, completing the campaign and all side quests will give you ~15 Tamer Pass levels.

Hello, Tamers new and old! Temtem 1.0 is out now.

It sure has been a journey! Early Access launched on January 21 of 2020, and today we finally close down that chapter and walk into a new era. The 1.0 release means we’re now on all four planned platforms, that the game is complete, and that we can look at the bigger picture, and look back at the road we’ve traversed. We haven’t stopped working, but today still feels like a dream even if we saw it coming.

Hello, Tamers! In case you’ve missed it, we spent the entirety of last week spoiling content and surprises that are coming to the game on version 1.0, on September 6th, or soon after. While this is pretty out of character for us, who like to only reveal stuff when it’s set and done, we believe the 1.0 is important enough that we had to give you a peek into it beforehand.

This is the bullet-point, patch-note-style recap of the whole week, for those of you who might want all the info in one place, but we still recommend you read the whole posts! There are a lot of details, info and insight that are useful to understand the bigger picture, and it’s much more enjoyable.

However, keep in mind that things are still subject to change, and iteration might happen from now up until 1.0. Hello, Tamers, and welcome to the celebrations of what we’ve come to call the Golden Week! As 1.0 approaches we’ve decided to progressively but decisively unveil the mystery of 1.0 early on, for those on the fence about the immediate future, and for old and new players alike.
Every working day of this week we will share a post covering one of the sectors of the game that are getting improved in 1.0, or part of the new content coming with it. We recommend reaaally reading them all!

  • Player names are interactable in the Dojo Wars bracket screen. This allows for much faster spectating of the matches!

Temtem Plus

Temtem Plus is a DLC available for purchase to family-shared accounts in the pertinent platforms (PS5, Xbox, Switch). All primary accounts that purchase Temtem automatically have Temtem Plus without any additional cost. This includes past accounts that have already purchased the game, and any future accounts that purchase the game. Temtem Plus opens up convenient new functionalities for secondary family-shared accounts in Temtem, while allowing us some control over a situation that posed many challenges.
