The "New projects available" notification in the bottom left of the screen is not clearing despite there being no new projects (I've viewed and scrolled over every project in the Projects menu multiple times).

Additionally, the project NPCs have the orange exclamation mark next to "Projects" (same in the map view) so I wonder if there may be unclaimed or partially completed projects that are expired (and no longer accessible) that are causing this issue? Just a guess. A button to manually reset these types of notifications in the settings would be helpful.

I've tried many troubleshooting steps and this bug still hasn't been resolved. This issue has been ongoing for days now and the more I see the icon the more annoying it becomes.

There are tens of other posts about this exact same issue dating back years so it seems this is a persistent, recurring bug/ issue. I don't know if the issue was ever fixed for the other posters as I was unable to find any fix when I researched this bug.

Is there any fix for this specific issue?

Hello everyone, thank you for posting about the 'new projects available' notification that will not disappear.

We have reported this to our Division team and we were able to reproduce this in certain situations. This is something we are looking into and is currently under investigation. When we know more, we will do our best to update you in our forums.

In the meantime, if you would like to help with our investigation, we would like to know the following >

  • Is it a recurring issue? If yes, when did it first start happening?
  • Does the issue occur regardless of the number of projects completed, or did you notice the completion of a certain number of projects that triggered it?
  • Does the notification disappear when changing the language in the settings menu? If so, which language made it dissappear?

Hey @darklite_x thanks for answering those questions, I will pass this information onto our Division QA team, to help in their investigation. I hope we will be able to resolve this soon in a future update, thanks for adding your experience of this bug too.

We haven't got any updates on this threads issue currently but regarding your other issue, I don't see that being something currently reported and being looked into. Would you be able to capture a video showing things that aren't new being marked as new again? If so, please can you start a new thread for that issue and provide us the link to the video and we'll create a report for that to be looked into too.
