The Trackmania Grand League Winter 2021 season is over!

We just finished up the TMGL, and now it�s time to conclude this Winter 2021 edition. Congratulations to CarlJr for his third consecutive crown, Pac for the incredible season, Scrapie for the comeback, and Mudda for his first appearance in the league�s top 4. A special congratulations to all of the other players, as the level of this edition was particularly high.

And congratulations as well to the two new young French players who will join the field for the next edition: Worker (16yo) & Binkss (17yo)!

Thank you to all of our spectators who are growing in number and watch the TMGL with so much passion!

[18/03/2021] Update and changelog

Hey everyone!

We're pushing a new update with the following changelog:


General

+ Added the item collection activity in clubs. To share your collection of items, you need to place the items in zip and place the .zip in the new "ItemCollections" folder which you can found in your Trackmania folder. Then, when creating the club activity, you'll be able to upload this zip and you can also add up to 10 images and a description in order to describe your collection. Once you have created a collection, players can add it to the map editor by simply going to the collection activity and click on "Add collection". Once it is added, you will be able to find the club items under the item category of the map editor (the tree) under the folder "Club" (next to "Official" and "Custom"). Third TMGL crown for CarlJr!

CarlJr is the Trackmania Grand League king! The Canadian won his third consecutive TMGL title defeating Pac in the Final 2.

CarlJr managed to claim his third TMGL title. After his success in Winter and Fall 2020 seasons, the Solary player adds the Winter 2021 Edition to his list of achievements! CarlJr already managed to secure the regular season win two weeks ago. For the first time in TMGL history, the regular season winner has been crowned after the final phase!

CarlJr�s biggest opponent was Pac. The MNM athlete qualified himself for the Final 6 after only 3 rounds. He did even better in the next match with 2 wins in 2 rounds and an early qualification into the Final 4. Hey everyone!

We're pushing a new update to improve your player experience on both Cup of the Day and the matchmaking with the following changes:


Cup of the Day

Since the beginning of the Cup, we have noticed that some players could be placed in a division way lower than what they should have been due to joining the qualification a bit late and not being able to drive a time that would meet their skill level. That behavior usually results in having few players being way faster than the others and impacting the quality of the cup. We decided to reduce the amount of time to drive your first time on the map to 10 minutes (15 minutes before the change), you will still have 15 minutes to improve that time. If you fail to drive a time during the first 10 minutes, your qualification time won't be effective.
