The process has completed on our end. If you were affected, you should see your original Crom Coins balance restored and your account unlocked now. If you still see discrepancies in your Crom Coins or are still suspended, please submit a support ticket. The vast majority of cases should now be resolved, but there will be some accounts that still need manual assistance from Support to fully resolve.

If you already submitted a ticket when this issue first sprung up and are still affected, you don’t need to submit a new ticket.

Ah, yeah. The intended behavior of that specific weapon is that it should instantly kill T1, T2, and T3 thralls upon knockout. This was apparently not the case for a while.

Hey there, can I DM you?

Whether you submitted your request under Ban Appeal or Ingame Purchases won’t affect anything on your end.

UPDATE: We are currently in the process of deploying said larger-scale solution and are seeing reports of success across the forums, discord, and social media. It will still take some time for it to get to everyone affected, but it’s cookin’.

Please note that you will not receive an immediate response on your ticket if you submitted one about this issue.

More news as things develop!

We’re currently in the process of deploying that larger-scale solution I mentioned earlier, but will take time to propagate through everyone affected.

Are they getting knocked out, or outright dying? The ‘Coup de Grace’ truncheon is intended to have some specific properties against T1, T2, and T3 humans (e.g. they’re supposed to die, not get knocked out)

Somewhat related to this issue and more related to the holidays fast-approaching, but yes, we’re doubling both building and thrall decay timers until January 7th. These changes should go live upon the next server restart.

Some of the Exiles team are based in Oslo and Lisbon (Portugal), but most of the devs, including the engineers handling our live service backend, are based in the USA.

Yep! Support is still churning through tickets and the live services team is looking into how we can speed this process up. Unfortunately I don’t have an ETA to offer, but as soon as we know more, we’ll keep you updated. Hopefully we can break you out of e-jail soon :stuck_out_tongue:

Most of the Exiles team is based in North Carolina so we have plenty of the day left. :stuck_out_tongue:

Greetings again, Exiles!

As some of you may be aware, with the launch of Age of War Chapter 3, we encountered a critical issue which resulted in a number of you seeing negative Crom Coin balances and having your account suspended as a result. In short, the issue caused discrepancies in payments and Crom Coin balances, which in turn got flagged by the system as a chargeback, resulting in account suspension.

We identified the root cause of the issue and deployed a fix to our backend late in the workday yesterday (Dec 14). This stopped new cases of this issue from occurring, but still left those of you who were already affected in a less-than-ideal situation.

As triage, Support has been working tirelessly to resolve this on an individual basis, but we acknowledge this is a stop-gap measure and not a full solution. Currently, we’re investigating our options for a larger-scale resolution, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.

Updated OP with some more details about Demolishers as well as an issue with viewing the new privacy policy with Steam Overlay disabled.

Also, I just checked Privacy Policy - Funcom and it works for me on my home connection. I’m not sure what the issue could be there @ConanBoDk

Well, it could not be a bug, and in this case my understanding now is this is an intended change to address a bug. We’ll keep an eye on feedback about this change.

Ah yeah, what I posted is more of a temporary workaround to the reported issue; something has changed with controls and OP’s issue has been brought up internally to be looked into.

I went and tried this and found that when “Controller Style Movement” was set to Off and Rotatable Stationary Camera was unchecked, my character would turn towards my cursor when attacking without any additional input. Unless there’s something different I’m missing, which is entirely possible.

Greetings, Exiles! A new chapter of Age of War is upon us, and we hope you have a blast building your own tavern and laying siege to the Stygians at al-Merayah. A few issues have popped up with the update, and this topic will serve to track what’s known and what’s going on with them. Here’s the rundown so far:

  • Negative Crom Coins balance; account suspended from play
[Updates here: Updates on Crom Coin/Suspension Issue]
Far and away the highest-priority issue affecting you right now. We’ve seen quite a few reports of logging in after the update to find Crom Coin balances in the negatives and accounts subsequently barred from play.
We released a backend fix today, which should prevent new instances of this issue from occurring, but unfortunately does not retroactively address the issue for folks already affected...

The ban is caused by Crom Coins so both!

Should not be a problem. Ban appeal is technically fine but we’d prefer the ‘Purchases’ category be used, since that’s the actual heart of the issue.
