If you have enough traffic in your city, you might be hitting the vehicle limit, which would stop more vehicles from spawning. You can check that with the CSL Show More Limits mod.

If it isn't the limit, then it's probably a mod doing something it shouldn't. Best place to start is to check your mods against this list of broken and incompatible mods.

I'd find the latest graphics driver and do a clean install of it. Windows updates have a tendency to mess with graphic drivers, so a clean install is a pretty easy way to see if that's playing a role here.

First of all I am not at all familiar with Mac, so maybe you've already tried this or it won't be relevant at all. But in case it could be useful, you should be able to show hidden files/folders by pressing Command+Shift+Dot

The mod also notes this part.

Note for OS X users: The "Files" directory might not exist. If it doesn't, it is safe to create it manually.

So perhaps you won't need to do anything else than just create the "Files" folder and put the images in it.

Have you added any mods recently since it started? Or more assets?

From the screenshot it's clear it isn't a case of missing buildings, so it isn't prefabs being skipped. They're there, they just aren't unlocked yet.

OP make sure you've used the Industry Area tool and not the old district tool. That's a common mistake to make until you get used to the new tool. Here's a screenshot pointing to the correct one.

(Side note. Industry Areas unlock at Tiny Town, which is 360-1500 citizens, so the area tool should be unlocked)

Have a look at Network Extensions 2 to see if some of the roads you're missing are from that mod. Afaik it's the only mod that adds more road tabs, so if you're missing tabs, it sounds like you used to have this mod.

Coookyman's description is spot on. I'll just add this picture which highlights the Industry Area Tool. :)

You should be able to remove the old one from in game. Go to the Content Manager, under Mods and find the old TMPE on the list. Then click the unsubscribe button.

Have uploaded screenshot. How do I show it to you?

It's best not to copy a log (or part of it) into a post here. It's just too long. You can upload the file somewhere else and link to it. That's the easiest way to share it here on Steam. These sites let you upload a file without having to register.

Here a screenshot: https://prnt.sc/tvqlvr

If you're able to unlock all 25 tiles, then that save has used a mod to do so at some point, or the game hasn't been restarted since disabling the mod and the mod is still loaded. Vanilla game only allows 9 tiles.

Yup, temperatures will change on all maps if you have Snowfall installed. A tropical map shouldn't get cold enough to use electricity to heat up houses, and afaik there's no need to cool houses (no AC for our citizens!), which would explain the increase in consumption you see.

Do you have any factories that might halt production at times (and stop consuming electricity)? Industries DLC areas might do this when they are waiting for resources to be delivered.

More information will help us help you. Are we talking about roads/tracks from the workshop? Or the default ones?

Have you added/removed any mods lately? Have any of the workshop assets you use updated recently?

- Start by building on pause
- Start small, keep things somewhat close together
- Don't build out large road systems until your city makes a decent profit
- Pause the game whenever something goes wrong
- Make sure your city gets clean water

Definitely check to make sure you don't have a filter enabled on the menu. I've done that more than a few times and wondered where something went.

This would be my guess as well. If you don't have any heating plants, then electricity will be used to heat houses as temperatures go down.

This is spot on. The launcher has been discussed over and over again, and the discussions tend to derail into bickering and tangently related topics. Discussing the launcher isn't a problem, but starting with a rant does not lead anywhere constructive - and the responses to your post already had it headed down the drain.

To nudge this thread in a more constructive direction, I'm curious as to what features would make the launcher feel useful to you?

Make sure the launch option for Steam is exactly -noWorkshop as the caps matter.

Setting up a pagefile like snowflitzer suggests might solve your crashing, at least if it's memory related that usually does the trick. But if you can post your crash logs somewhere (specifically the error.log and the output_log.txt) I'd be happy to take a look.

Here's a few sites you can upload files to without needing an account. Then you can share the link to the logs here. :)
