Always disable mods you don't absolutely need in the editor. Most mods weren't designed to be used in the editor and try to do all sorts of things, which aren't possible there. So they cause a bunch of different issues. :)

It's an issue caused by an old and broken mod. Make sure you don't have any of these:

- Fine Road Tool (the original, not version 2)
- Fine Road Anarchy (the original, not version 2)
- Road Anarchy
- Road Anarchy 2
- Advanced Road Anarchy
- Sharp Junction Angles
- Low Bridges High Dams

I'll just leave a link to the list of known broken and incompatible mods. That's the best resource you can have when looking for mods, so you can avoid the ones known to cause issues. :)

Remember that search mods like Find It are mods and so allow you do to things, that the devs did not intend. Just because you can access something doesn't mean you should be placing it. ;) Plane paths are something I really don't suggest you mess around with, if you don't need to, since it's very easy to mess them up, so airports stop working right.

The tooltip you see for them is also meant to be seen in the map editor. You can't do what it suggests in a city unless you have mods that allow you to add outside connections while in game.

Plane paths are just invisible lines on a map, that an airport will connect to when placed. They are typically not something you need to worry about while playing, unless the map doesn't have any or have issues with them. :)

You have some old broken mods, that need sorting. Unsubscribe from these:

- Extended Building Information (1.10+) - get Extended Building Info (by live627) instead
- Move It! Extra Filters - no longer needed
- Fine Road Anarchy - broken, get Fine Road Anarchy 2 instead
- Aedificium - broken
- Theme Mixer - get Theme Mixer 2 instead
- Transport Line Rendering Fix - no longer needed
- Fine Road Rool - broken, get Fine Road Tool 2 instead
- Advanced Toolbar - I recommend More Advanced Toolbar instead
- Network Skins - get Network Skins 2 instead
- More Beautification - use Find It to place props instead
- European Buildings Unlocker - broken, use the built in European Style instead
- Advanced Vehicle Options - use Advanced Vehicle Options (Sunset Harbor) instead
- Building Eyedropper Tool - use Picker 1.3 instead
- One-Way Street Arrows - works, but the game has arrows by default now, which you might consider using instead... Read more

If your problem is sewage messing with the river, then you could also switch to in-land sewage options. There are some in the game itself if you have Sunset Harbor, but there's also workshop options like these:

With the Adcanced Stop Selection mod you can move stops to specific tracks you want a line to use.

Make sure to check you don't have any filters selected. I've done that more than once and wondered where certain buildings went! :P

It depends a little on the building itself, but it sounds like one that is meant to require a road nearby. To have it working fine, you will need a road within 2 tiles of the front of the building. If you want to use an invisible road, you will need to subscribe to one on the workshop. Like this one for example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1229443937&searchtext=invisible+road

I see the icon for Klyte's mods. Do you perhaps have Transport Line Manager?

+1 to this! There's something so satisfying about watching traffic (if it doesn't get backed up at least!)

That would explain it yes. GeForce Now doesn't support mods sadly. :/

You would either replace it yourself or you can get a computer store to put in a new processor for a fee. It's important to make sure it uses the same type of socket as the one you have now, so that it will fit in your motherboard, to make sure your power supply can handle it and make sure to get a cooler that fits it as well (unless it comes with a cooler).

Ah unlucky timing! :/ At least there's bound to be more sales, even if they're a while away.

Yup, that's correct. The Paradox Store gives you a Steam key, so those sales are worth it too (provided regional pricing on Steam isn't a thing for you). :)

RAM won't really make much of a difference, if any. You could upgrade your CPU which would mean the slow down would happen later with a larger population. The game is optimzed for a 4-core/8-thread CPU (you have a 4-core/4-thread), so something like a 6-core/12-thread CPU would handle the game and system processes better than what you have now.

Cities has helped me relax so much, that I actually just sometimes play the theme music while doing other stuff, because it has a similar effect. I do love just chilling while working on one of my cities! Or watching some of the amazing builds others do. It's inspiring and works great to take my mind of things for a while. ^^

Make sure you're using the right tools. Industries and Campus has their own area tools, which are similar to districts, but also slightly different. The best way to go about it is to paint in the area with the appropriate tool, then place a main building to set the type. Then you will be able to place buildings in the area.

There's the Industries area tool highlighted. The Campus one is the right-most icon.

Summer Sale ended not so long ago, so I'm afraid you just missed some good deals. If you add the DLCs you're interested in to your wishlist on Steam, you'll get notified when there's a sale again.

You can also sign up for the Paradox Newsletter (requires a Paradox account) and check Cities: Skylines on the list of games. Then you'll receive an email when there's a sale, which also includes sales on Paradox's own store.
