Sharing your save would definitely be a way for us to look into things, though since you are playing without mods, I would suggest you post on the official support forums. If this is a bug, that would be the place to post and have it looked into. :)

In addition to Verullus Forgefire's recommendation, I suggest these two collections (part 1 and 2 of the same):

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the launcher! If you haven't already tried them, the steps in this thread fix most issues. And if they don't help at all, it explains how to contact Paradox Support, so they can help solve the issue and log any bugs that need fixing.

Removing TMPE should be fine, plus the mod is up to date as far as I know, so I doubt that's the problem. I still see it in your log though, so looks like you are still subscribed to it.

You don't have any mods that I would expect to affect this, but I am not sure about Ad... Read more

Ah, that would explain it! Thanks for the heads up, I'll add it to the list of broken mods.

If you want a replacement, Fine Road Tool 2 can do the same and is up to date. :)

Btw i also noticed that when i entered the activation codes i accidently also activated the game again ? I was amazed that steam allowed a game to be activated twice but there wasnt an undo possible? so maybe thats why steam now shuts the game down ?

Sounds like that might be an issue with the launcher, but I'm not sure. I suggest you post on the official support forums as there are more people able to help you there.

Ah, so like when the overlays switch on automatically (when placing pipes for example). I don't remember seeing a mod like that, but it does sound like something that would be handy though.

Oof, that does not look nice. :S Definitely looks like something a broken mod could cause. If you haven't already, I suggest checking your mods against this list of known broken mods:

Hmm, yeah that does sound like they might have Ploppable RICO Settings. You can check that in the Settings Panel for Ploppable RICO in game and remove any settings that aren't supposed to be there.

Hmm, then we'll probably have to take a look at your output log (player.log on Mac and Linux) to see all your mods and any errors that might explain what's happening. This guide explains where to find it and suggests some places you can upload it to, since we can't attach files here on Steam.

That would be the processor, though every processor would have the same thing happen at some point. I imagine others here will have some recommendations for processors if you're looking to upgrade. :)

Do you have any other mods that deal with public transport like Improved Public Transport or Transport Line Manager?

Sounds like Steam had a little connection issue, which is usually solved by restarting Steam, but sometimes just restarting the game does it. But most importantly it's working for you again! :steamhappy:

Extended InfoPanel also has an option for it. So lots of choices. Keep in mind that mods that control time have a tendency to not like each other, so you should only use one. And not all of them are compatible with mods that change the length of the day/night cycle, like Real Time. :)

That does sound like a lot. What about other buildings like commercial, high density residential, offices and industry? Do they also have some very high or low numbers?

If you can post your log, then we can have a look at your mods and hopefully figure out which ones are causing this to happen. This guide explains where to find your output log (player.log on Mac and Linux) and suggests some places you can upload the file to, since we can't attach files here on Steam. :)

It sounds like you might be using the old district tool, which does not work with Industries buildings. You want the Industry Area tool, which is the one highlighted here:
