The Windows Event Viewer could be useful as a troubleshooting tool here as well. Those voice system log messages aren’t particularly concerning and unfortunately don’t indicate anything about the root problem you’re experiencing.

Hey folks, we identified a crash in one of our servers and we just rolled out a fix for it. We’re working on increasing login rates to get everyone through the queue quickly. Apologies for the hassle.

Thanks for all the follow up here everyone it’s very helpful.

We’re continuing to fix up any remaining accounts that have issues. On Tuesday with our 1.35 release we have a permanent fix for this problem so no future accounts will be affected.

Hey everyone, thanks for being patient. We’ve identified accounts that were affected by this problem and have repaired 82% of them. We will continue to work on repairs until all accounts are fixed up.

Important to note that we cannot repair an account that is logged in, so if you’re affected by this we recommend staying offline if possible (logging in to check if you’re repaired is ok).

If you’d like to post here noting that your account is fixed, or still broken, we appreciate the extra detail as we verify our fixes.

edit: This issue is exceptionally rare and very few accounts were affected. As a note for anyone who finds this thread, you are fine to change your account name.

Hey there, sorry for the login queue today. As of now we’re all clear, but we know the disruption when you’re ready to jump in and play is frustrating.

One challenge we encounter supporting a global game is finding a perfect patch time. At any given time some regions are busier than others. The reason we patch during Americas business hours is to make sure we have all the proper support staff here at Blizzard HQ to help if we encounter any issues. Unfortunately that means we land during a busier time for EU players.

Making the patch process smoother, and hopefully queue free for all regions, is a high priority for us. The problems we face on patch days can be complex, but I promise we’ll keep doing our best to fix the issues.

Hey folks we have a bug fix in progress for this. This only affects the Sherlock skin so as a work around you can select another skin until the patch is live. Sorry for the hassle, cheers!
