Of course - we don't want two versions of the ship running around with 3 seconds difference in radar

I love the analogy
Guys - I recall it the T9 CB season the USS Black was a must-have for most teams. It's sluggish and it's torps are sea-mines, but the ability to combine DD stealth with American Smoke and radar is extremely powerful and warranted a small nerf to the duration of the radar.

I assure you that the decisions to nerf or buff ships based on an understanding of metrics takes into account player skill.
It's a nerf of a few seconds to radar on a ship that combines American Smoke and radar on a DD.
She'll be fine

Hiya,
I can see why that is frsutrating, but I would say the main thing to go by is what's listed in the article. I'm not sure why the in-game timers don't line up, but in general the times listed in the announcement are what you should go by.

Hi, there!
Devblog post with characteristics is here: https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/273
At each ship's max range:

T8 Cherbourg: Maximum dispersion - 197 м. Sigma – 1.80 (17.7km)
T9 Brest: Maximum dispersion - 201 м. Sigma – 1.80 (18.2km)
T10 Marseille: Maximum dispersion - 213 м. Sigma – 1.80 (19.6km)
Compare to: (at 18km - max range on Dunk, the Max dispersion gets higher the farther the range)

T7 Strasbourg: Maximum dispersion - 242 м. Sigma – 1.80
T8 Richelieu: Maximum dispersion - 242 м. Sigma – 1.80

25s Reload on 8 guns vs. 38s Reload on 12.
1.9 sigma, 230m dispersion vs 1.7 sigma, 228m dispersion at 20km.
Different =/= worse

No argument from me there, Brother. I love the Agir

Respectfully, Carnot is not objectively worse than Agir.
Carnot's HE shells do better damage per strike and has better HE dpm, albeit worse HE pen.
Carnot's shells travel faster and have flatter ballistic arcs.

Carnot has access to DFAA and 20% SPEED BOOST that lasts a loooong time.
Carnot has a 36mm deck that is not overmatched by any guns in the game. Agir has a 30mm deck overmatched by 434mm and higher.

It's different - not worse

The one I get the most is the guy from Schitt's Creek: Dustin Milligan.

I'll take that under advisement!

Respectfully, I'm going to take exception to this.
Ahskance and myself have an amazing support team, and amazing Producer team, and an amazing boss in Ev1n. We've both been able to learn a massive amount about a new industry (I was a bartender / actor for 13 years) and I couldn't be happier.

We've both had our stumbles since joining the company because we're learning new skills every day. I have never once felt as though Wargaming was not 100% on my side - but I also know that I am responsible for my actions just as anyone else is. If I stumble because I let my performer side come out and I sass someone more than is appropriate - that's on me. If World of Warships gives me information to share on what's happening in the game, I share that, and that is not taken well - I would never be punished for something like that.

Guys - Ahskance and I absolutely LOVE our jobs.
Sometimes it's frustrating but I think this is the path to dream-jobs for both of us. We were both streamers and co-commentated King of the Sea before joining WG because we REALLY LOVE World of Warships.

Incredible!
I've only ever seen this once before in 4 years of playing World of Warships. The odds of this actually happening are so low due to the number of things that have to line up for it to occur.

It's like seeing a Mountain Goat actually slip while rock-hopping.

I believe the picture was cropped to ensure that the players involved don't have their name and results exposed. This is standard and actually required in the forums to avoid "naming and shaming or stat-shaming".

Hi, there, @Number9Pounder!
I'd like to introduce you to most of the ships of Tier's 1-4.
Have a great day!

It's the first time since Season 5 since that many clans made Hurricane.
Perhaps "Made history" wasn't the best choice of words

Dearest Users,
Dark Magic that brings long-dead threads back to life is considered unnatural and will not be tolerated in the Wizardly World of Warshipotter.
Let sleeping threads lie...
