Hi again everyone! Wanted to pop into the thread one more time to thank you for responding.

As mentioned in the first post we will be using this feedback in future development of Operations. I've passed on all points about balance and difficulty in R4, and going forward for gearing we'll look to address:

  • Gear from Story mode allowing a smoother transition into Veteran mode.
  • Increasing accessibility of rare drops based on effort.
  • Adjustments in the way vanity armor sets are obtained.

Checking in here! Thanks you to everyone for your feedback on Gearing Changes in 7.2. Based on feedback we'll be reducing the drop rate of Systech gear lower than what you've experienced on PTS, which will raise the drop rate of currency bags.

I don't seed Rakata gear listed.  Is it getting the same level increase as other gear?

Yes it will! Great catch, the initial post has been updated.

Hey Community!

It’s time to talk about the changes you’ll see coming with patch 7.2 that impact gearing and progression!

Increasing the Power Floor
7.2 will be the first time we raise what we call the power floor! As the 7.0 era progresses, we will occasionally raise the base item ratings for Legacy of the Sith content. Here are the changes that will come with increasing the power floor:

  • Rewards from the Legacy of the Sith story will be increased to 322 (up from 318)
  • The minimum item rating of gear dropped for level 80 players in non-PvP content will be increased to 324 (up from 320)
  • The minimum item rating of gear obtained for level 80 players in PvP content will be increased to 322 (from 318)
  • The item rating of gear sold by the Conquest Gear Vendors will be increased to 324 (up from 320)
  • The item rating of gear sold by the PvP Gear Vendors will be incre...

Hey there, we posted more clarification around the Shadow Syndicate reputation with Galactic Season 3 here!

Post

Hello members of the Shadow Syndicate!

I wanted to share some more information around how Fen Zeil and the Shadow Syndicate reputation will work once Galactic Season 3 is live.

Obtaining Syndicate Plans after Galactic Season 3 starts
Previously we announced that Shadow Syndicate Plans would continue to drop until the start of Galactic Season 3, as long as players hadn’t completed the Shadow Syndicate reputation. When Galactic Season 3 starts, these plans will still be available but we will be adding an additional requirement for obtaining them.

With Galactic Season 3, Shadow Syndicate Plans will drop from mobs around the galaxy for players who

  • Have not maxed out the Shadow Syndicate reputation track
  • Have Fen Zeil as an active companion

This additional requirement will prevent issues of players trying to increase the reputation of past Galactic Seasons while a new season ...

Hey Operations players!

Now that you’ve had time to challenge The R-4 Anomaly, we wanted to gather feedback on how rewards and gear were distributed. If you need a refresher on the gearing system, check here! As a highlight from this post, the main goals of the R-4 gearing system are Progression as a Group and Progression on every Kill.

Let’s start with Progression as a Group. Bosses in The R-4 Anomaly drop 2 boss-specific tokens per defeat that can be exchanged for Virulent gear, the highest item rating available from the operation. These tokens are tradeable for a 2 hour window to any member of the operation. This lets a group move rewards to a chosen player and ensures that early bosses remain desirable after multiple clear...

Hey Community!

Weve been keeping an eye on the inflow of Daily Resource Matrices, and will be making them easier to obtain in 7.1.1.

Weve increased inflow of Daily Resource Matrix from the following sources:
  • Group Finder Role in Need rewards 10 DRM (up from 5)
  • World Bosses reward 8 DRM on kill (up from 3)
  • Mission "[WEEKLY] Priority Targets" rewards 40 DRM (up from 20)
  • Weekly Missions for Heroic Areas reward 40 DRM (up from 20)
  • Weekly Missions for Daily Areas and Conquest Events reward 50 DRM (up from 25)
This will reduce the expected amount of Daily and Heroic missions required to upgrade gear as well as give players more options of sources for Daily Resource Matrices. Well continue to keep an eye on the flow of resources and make more adjustments as needed, so please keep the feedback coming!

See you on Dromund Kaas, I might join a party to help kill The First!

Hi,

Thanks so much for the report!

It sounds like someone has been stealing Tech Fragments from Lady Dominique. We'll address this in an upcoming patch to match prior Operations (before Lady D finds out)!

Hey there!

Hyde and Zeek are surely known for their tricks, but they shouldn't be running any schemes at the moment! We aren't aware of any issues impacting Hyde and Zeek, would you be able to offer some more information?

1. Was this character on the Republic or Imperial side?
2. Do you remember any information about the 330 Artifact item you deconstructed, the name or what type of item?
3. What are the Origin Story and Discipline of the character?

If Hyde and Zeek are up to no good we'll track it down and set them straight!

Hi players!

As you saw with 7.1, modifications are back! We’re reading through the feedback players are submitting and we wanted to add some clarity on what is now available for players and how they can obtain these items.

How to obtain 7.1 modifications
Both Republic and Imperial players can talk to Hyde and Zeek in the Supplies section of the fleet near the other modification vendors. Hyde will offer players 4 missions that will open up access to purchase mods. Please note that Hyde and Zeek will only offer missions to players who are level 80 and are wearing gear with an Item Rating of 324 or higher.

Here are the missions offered:

Zeek's Deconstruction: 328 Prototype
Completing this Mission will allow the player to purchase (each costs 100,000 credits)
  • Resistive Armoring 99
  • Versatile Armoring 99
  • Resistive Barrel 99
  • Versatile Barrel 99
  • Bulwark Enhancement 99
  • Prof...

Hey Community!

Im back to talk about the changes to gearing and progression players can expect with the 7.1 Update. Weve already posted about the gear for the upcoming Operation: The R4 Anomaly, so this post will hit on the rest of the changes!

New Operation: The R4 Anomaly
Weve previously outlined how gearing will work for R4 Anomaly, but lets talk about vanity gear! The token exchange vendors for Story and Veteran will offer dyeable versions of the R4 Anomaly gear in two color variations, along with special versions of the gear with special VFX.

The story token exchange will trade tokens for the Hazardous Delver, Virulent Delver, Hazardous Excavator, and Vi... Read more

Hey players!

I'm here with an update on Guild Perks and Guild Leveling. As Jackie mentioned, we're aware of the issues caused by the current Guild System and are looking into it. Today's news is that 7.1 will include a small change to help this problem! We're going to continue evaluating the larger Guild Leveling and Guild Perks system but here's what you can expect with patch 7.1.

We are increasing the number of Guild Commendations given when a Guild meets their Conquest Target:
  • Small Yield Rewards 80 (up from 70)
  • Medium Yield Rewards 90 (up from 80)
  • Large Yield Rewards 100 (up from 90)

With the opportunity to complete 4 Conquests in a month, this adjustment will provide some more Guild Commendations to those high level guilds wanting to stay active with their Perks. As mentioned, we'll continue to evaluate both these systems, but we hope this change makes it easier to keep your guildmates perked up!

Hiya players!

With the end of Galactic Season 2 weve seen confusion around the Shadow Syndicate reputation track. This Shadow Syndicate was a time limited reputation track released to expand the offerings of Galactic Season 2. When Galactic Season 2 ended the Syndicate Plans used to progress the reputation track were no longer available, though Qius Dnar remains available on Nar Shaddaa. We understand that players expected to be able to continue progressing this track even after the season ended and used the new reputation track to help progress Conquest. Well be making some adjustments with patch 7.1 to allow progress towards this reputation track to continue.

Syndicate Plan drops
With patch 7.1, Syndicate Plans will continue to drop from mobs across the Galaxy for players who have not completed the reputation track. Jawa Intel will also remain available from Brrazz on the Fleet to increase the chance to obtain Syndicate Plans. With this change p... Read more

Hmm, seems like an Armormech and Synthweaver were supporting Saboteurs with these mixed up patterns.

The fix for this is also targeted for patch 7.1.

Thanks so much for the bug report! This is currently targeted to be fixed with the 7.1 update.

Hey there!

When Galactic Season 2 ends, Underworld Syndicate Plans will no longer drop from enemies. Qi'us Dnar will remain on Nar Shaddaa allowing players to turn in any remaining Underworld Syndicate Plans even after the season has ended.

I hope everyone is able to make the most of the remaining time and reach their goals with the Shadow Syndicate!
