Morning everyone - they’re working on deploying a fix as we speak. It needed a server reset though so it had to wait until downtime. I’ll give you more details when I have them shortly.

Update 13:30 Evetime : We have just deployed a hotfix for this issue - when redeeming this SP reward it will apply to unallocated SP properly instead of going to inventory as an item.

The client does not yet properly indicate this change but a fix for that is in the works.

We are still looking into fixing the SP rewards that were already redeemed before this hotfix was in place.

I don’t think this will break anything necessarily but I would recommend against it. I anticipate these will just be cleaned up on the database level and the missing SP will be added straight to accounts - but I’ll have more information on how the fix will work soon.

I would not recommend this as a fix will not necessarily make the item usable.

We are aware of an issue where the 150k SP reward from the daily login reward system is being incorrectly deposited to player hangars as an item which cannot be used. This appears to be affecting all players.

We are currently looking into this issue and will update you as soon as we have any further information.

Bans and longer term silences are still at CCP’s discretion when ISDs escalate concerns to us.

We have had several recent instances of repeat rule breakers / spammers where our ISD forum moderators were left repeatedly deleting rule breaking threads while having to wait for CCP to resolve the situation. This can be frustrating both for the ISDs and those of you trying to use the forums as you normally would.

With this in mind we’ve been reviewing forum moderation procedures and are further empowering ISDs to respond to issues. Starting today, ISDs will have the power to temporarily silence users who repeatedly ignore their warnings. This may take the form of a simple 24 hour ‘cooldown’ silence or a longer silence pending CCP review for serious infractions (there may be no warning before being silenced for serious violations). Having to be repeatedly silenced may warrant a longer silence duration up to the possibility of a permanent ban from CCP.

Thanks for the support for our ISDs in here you guys, I’ve been working with them quite a bit and I know it can be a tough job at times. As for the suggestions to increase their moderation power - we have things in the works so they won’t always have to wait for us to respond to deal with issues like today.

There are no such plans at this time. However, my understanding is that we are reaching out to inactive players by email to let them know this change is coming and give them a chance to log in and asset safety their things - which can be done without having to pay as alphas.

I’m not the best person to speak on this and given we’re headed into a holiday weekend it will be a little while before I can get a more authoritative answer. I doubt such a decision would be retroactive in a case like this however.

Just to reiterate, please let the EULA speculation be for now. We’ll let you know if any concerns arise.

The author of a third party tool does not dictate whether or not that tool is EULA compliant. If we identify an EULA issue with a third party tool we will take care of it at that time.
