Tranquility recovered from the attacks earlier today and was stable until a recent resumption in DDoS attacks. If you incur losses due to server issues you can file a support ticket by visiting support.eveonline.com and filing a ticket under the Game Play Support -> Reimbursement and then choose the appropriate subcategory. You can also access the support ticket system in-client by pressing F12 in the clicking on Go to Help Centre. Your reimbursement claim will be reviewed by our customer support team.

There was another brief outage a short while ago at approximately 10:35 UTC that lasted for less than 10 minutes. We apologise for the inconvenience!

Looks like there was another attack at approximately 22:13 UTC which may have led to a wave of players being disconnected from TQ (myself included!) but this time it was not as widespread as earlier today. Our engineers were on the case quickly and are monitoring the situation.

I did say I was going to replicate it here but that thread blew up so massively I’m still putting out the flames on my inbox, and there’s still a bunch of DMs that came along with it which I still haven’t got around to reading and replying to. I’d still like to kick off a similar thread on these forums but I’m still not done fully processing the feedback from the last one even a week later!

Looks like we have pretty similar backgrounds as EVE players. I started in 2004 as well, and was recruited into EVE by SirMolle from the Homeworld community. Evolution was the first player corp I joined and looks like we were both in Setenta at some points, too.

Sounds like ransoming mission loot for for the SoE arc which new players are widely encouraged to run might have been considered griefing newbros by the GM, even if it wasn’t occurring in a designated starter system. Caring capsuleers! CCP will soon be conducting a new PLEX for GOOD campaign to raise funds for those affected by the severe bushfires that are currently raging in Australia. It has been incredibly distressing watching this disaster unfold and it has affected us at CCP deeply but we are heartened to witness the amazing EVE Online community calling for PLEX for GOOD to return and lend a hand. More details will be coming next week.
