The backgrounds of CCPers who were active EVE players prior to joining the company is super diverse. Pretty much every major alliance and playstyle is represented at CCP in some way.

Comment

This change only applies to the requirement of CCP to maintain their anonymity and the internal security policies that were implemented in wake of that event still remain in place.

Comment

You can’t create a character with “CCP” in front of the name and if you try to impersonate a CCPer you’ll be in contravention of section 8 of the Terms of Service.

Ok, here’s what we’ll do to save you a bunch of clicks if you have a big stockpile of melted snowballs to exchange:

EDIT: New, more betterer plan - just contract me your snowballs in Luminaire VII (Caldari Prime) - Moon 6 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant for 0 ISK ahead of time if you want and I’ll contract back fresh snowballs. (Should have made this the plan from the beginning but I’m not very smart.)

Otherwise you can still do this rather than contract:

  1. Bring your melted snowballs with you to Luminaire VII (Caldari Prime) - Moon 6 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant
  2. I’ll be hanging out in the station from around 19:00 EVE time on Sunday.
  3. Open a trade window with me and give me your stockpile of melted snowballs.
  4. I’ll use dev space magic to exchange them for fresh snowballs at a 10:1 ratio and trade them back to you

Sorry but I have to stick with the 10:1 ratio. Since the snowballs are part ...

Hey guys! Sorry about the snowballs being melted. I’ve been in communication with @Commander_A9 and I’ll make sure he’s got enough snowballs for his event and the rest of you should use the Yoiul Festival Snowball Exchange structures located throughout hisec as others in this thread have mentioned.

Looking forward to see you there!

I’m Australian and I wanted a dev name with an Australian flavour. Plus Brits like to use “convict” on us Aussies as a slur sometimes, so I figured I’d get out in front of it.

And like a wise man once said:

Thanks for saying so and I acknowledge I haven’t been as active on these forums as I should be - something I hope to remedy now that the Invasion World Tour is over and I can begin concentrate more on the grassroots aspects of community development!

You should come to an EVE Down Under. We’ve been anything but quiet about it. :stuck_out_tongue:

I played EVE in the Australian timezone for 15 years and I can tell you the timing of DT has been a major issue for players on that side of the world the entire time. It comes up frequently in discussions between AUTZ players in-game and at pub meetups etc, and every EVE Down Under and Fanfest usually has at least one player ask CCP when they’re going to delete DT, usually to a room full of cheers.

Comment

We won’t be going for a random downtime. After this experiment it will revert to daily at the usual time but perhaps going forward we can have it less frequently. Maybe every few days, or just weekly. Whatever we end up with though DT itself will always occur at scheduled times so nobody gets surprised, although we won’t rule out having it at different times on different days to spread the pain around. :stuck_out_tongue:
