Hmmm, according to my logs you received 2M SP on Singularity.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for participating in the mass test! 2 million skill point have been added on Singularity to the participating characters.
I am still going through the results and bug reports, but so far it looks pretty promising (but there are for sure a few problems to investigate further).

Can you try to attach also the full launcher log file of the launcher session? Alternatively you can also keep LogLite running, restart the launcher and capture a client start attempt, so I can see what the launcher is doing directly before starting the client. And then attach these files as well.
I think you can also try to start the app for Sisi directly to see if this would work (but I am not sure if this would work normally).

Currently yes, as it is still being tested.

@Ernesto_Guevarti Can you please send a bug report with all available details and log files? Feel free to tag my name in the title of the bug report. Hackintosh are not supported, but I am a bit surprised, that it does not work at all.

Interesting, this is in planetart production mode? Ccould you please send us a bug report about this, when this happens again?

Hey!

We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Tuesday, September 28th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time)!

What exactly is being tested?

New Native Mac Client and related changes, especially looking for:

  • Mac + Windows client performance
  • Mac + Windows client stability - especially crash fixes
  • Server performance

How to connect to Singularity for this test:

  • Ensure that the launcher is patched to the latest version (important for Mac)
  • Change the server from Tranquility to Singularity in the bottom right corner of the launcher and log in as normal.
  • More detailed instructions are available ...

Hi @Kwambus!
Did you try to login on Singularity or Tranquility? On Tranquility (which is still using he old client through Wine) this is unfortunately expected on M1 with the standard installation, but on Singularity this should work.

This is actually a bug and will be fixed soon.

Hi!
A client patch was released earlier, which was accidently applied to some running clients (which broke then the client further). Please restart your client + launcher, if you have the client running since before 11:40 EVE-time and your are experiencing severe UI problems.

Hi,

This play test on Singularity has concluded now. Singularity has been updated with a new build (the same as on Tranquility), so you’ll receive the Wine client again.

Thanks a bunch for participating in the play test and thanks for all your feedback and bug reports.

Unfortunately we could not determine the reason yet. Could you please add a dxdiag report to your bug report? Maybe this gives us the needed hint on what might be going on.

Can you please write a bug report (at https://community.eveonline.com/support/bug-reports/) and add as much details and logs as you have. I hope this will show us something.

The certificate issues should be fixed now.

We are aware of the certificate errors - they should be fixed asap.

Hey all,

We have just deployed a new build to Sisi. In this patch we re-enabled a performance optimization for the native Mac client, which caused crashes earlier - but now with fixed code, so it should no longer crash.

For testing this we are:

  • Extending the native Mac play test slightly until tomorrow
  • Have an informal test this afternoon (2021-08-16) at 17:00 EVE-time - just FFA combat in M-OEE8.

Hmmm, somehow I cannot find a bug report about this. Have you maybe created a support ticket instead? Please write the bug report at https://community.eveonline.com/support/bug-reports/, if not done already. Thanks.

Comment

@smudge245 , @Ronnel : This is unfortunately a different issues to the original issue in this thread - and so far I am unaware of this one. Please send us bug reports about those (if not done already) and add as much details (including logs) as possible.

  • Which Windows version are you running?
  • Could you please try to verify the resource cache and maybe also delete the “sisi” folder in the SharedCache folder (be default at C:\EVE\SharedCache\sisi) and see if this helps in any way?
