Facet of Hope is not currently working as intended and we have a fix scheduled for July 2 that will address the inconsistency in its performance. First, we are fixing the issue causing Facet of Hope to not work with Amplified as intended.

Second, we will be fixing and issue causing Facet of Hope to stop working when a buff with a shorter timer ends even if you have a second eligible buff still active.

Finally, we wanted to take the chance to clarify how Facet of Hope works. Facet of Hope’s class ability regeneration is active while you have any eligible buff that stays active long enough.

This means Frost Armor, Woven Mail, Restoration, Radiant, Void Overshield, Devour, Invisibility, and Amplified will all receive Facet of Hope’s benefits when Facet of Hope is equipped.

Thanks for the report! We'll pass this over to the team for investigation.

As a heads up, the Help forum over on Bungie.net is a great place to post issues like these. Gets in front of our player support team quick for investigation, plus we can get some account information to help investigations.

Hey all,

The team is currently investigating this. Don't have any firm information at this time, but we'll give updates when we can.

I understand that player retention amongst casual PVP players that do not frequently play Trials is important. That being said, for a lot of PVP-focused players, weekly Trials is what keeps us playing the game. Why is it not possible to run both Trials and IB at the same time like in the past? Are there no worries that 2 week breaks of Trials every time Iron Banner comes around may turn away some of the dedicated PVP player-base?

I'll see if we can dig up the ye olde TWID when we first started putting Trials on hiatus during Iron Banner weekends, but there were a few goals in mind that still hold up today. While some of these goals were created on our side, some were influenced by player feedback back when both modes could be on at the same time.

  1. Maintain quick matchmaking times for Iron Banner (Lowering population by enabling Trials can lead to longer queue times)
  2. Avoid poor connection qualities due to split populations (Lower population means less folks to pull into games, leading to some poor matchups in connection quality)
  3. Position Iron Banner as a limited time PvP celebration (Tower decorations change, folks wear Iron Banner gear - it feels like a fun little community event so to speak)
  4. Avoid weekends where Flawless attempts in Trials feel more "difficult" due to a split population (Hardcore players go to Trials while majority are still in Iron...

Hey all,

Thanks for the feedback concerning our new Iron Banner schedule. To be transparent, this is a sort of experiment as we feel out the new Episode/Act structure.

Under this new cadence of Iron Banner appearing for two weeks in a row, Trials of Osiris will experience fewer interruptions over the course of the Act. In the past, Iron Banner would appear once every few weeks.

Now, Trials of Osiris will be available for 7 to 8 weekends in a row before the next Iron Banner week begins. You will still have the same amount of Trials/Iron Banner to play, this is just a change to how things are scheduled.

We'll be watching feedback as things go live!

Hey everyone. We've heard feedback about certain frustrating elements in Breach Executable, and we have a couple of changes planned for next week's update to improve the experience.

First off, some enemies were hitting a little too hard—particularly those affected by both Void Threat and Air Superiority/Blasts. We want to keep a bit of variety in our modifiers, so because Void Threat is constantly applied we're removing it from Expert Breach Executable.

We will also be improving the hunt for Planetary Pistons and Radiolite samples with several changes:

  • Guardians will always be able to find two Pistons in each run of Breach Executable
  • Piston waypoint range is increased for easier visibility
  • The delay before being teleported to join allies in the next encounter has been increased. This means you can continue to extract samples when your teammates push ahead.
  • Extracting Radiolite samples is now instant, so you can get back into ...

We missed a few patch notes with abilities and just added them in.

💠Using Smoke bombs with Trappers Ambush is fixed.

💠Picking up Stasis Shards with Glacial Harvest now properly heal.

💠Players can no longer activate Facet of Command repeatedly with no cooldown.

Sidebar: Does getting all the prismatic fragments on one character unlock it on all the others once they've unlocked prismatic?

Yes, prismatic fragments are account bound and will be unlocked on your other characters after you unlock prismatic.

Hey, we wanted to let you know this is a bug and the description of improving the duration of Resto x1 is the intended behavior. We aren't rushing out a fix on this, but it will get updated in the future, so we wanted to let you know in case it impacts your crafting decisions.

Yes, this is not intended. The higher buff from Exodus should overwrite the Radiant buff. We're currently looking into a fix.

Surges will not be active in the Salvation's Edge raid during Contest Mode this weekend. We appreciate everyone's feedback on raid and dungeon difficulty and the impact that the addition of surges has had. No changes planned right now, but the team is aware.

Last night, we solved several critical issues causing poor stability and heavily reduced the amount of "Kick to Orbit" errors as you can see in this Graph

.

We are closely monitoring the player population and will be increasing server capacity throughout the day to ensure the game remains in a stable state. As the population increases, players may hit a queue, but our goal is to get everyone in as swiftly as possible.

We encourage everyone to jump into The Final Shape today, and we thank you for your patience.

Hey everyone, if connection issues have blocked you from playing or enjoying The Final Shape today, we want to apologize. We’re hard at work trying to resolve each of these issues as quickly as possible, and many of the connection issues from this morning have already been fixed.

Some of the issues we’ve been able to address today so far:

Upon launching the game, we noticed network related sign on issues related to failures in our load balancer machines. We were forced to route traffic around them and partially mitigated this issue within 2 hours of launch.

We saw a spike in Honeydew errors starting at 12:27 p.m. (PT) and completely resolved the underlying issue by 12:46 p.m. (PT) by increasing the number of Activity Hosts configured to run on each server.

We saw a spike in Weasel & Plum errors starting at 12:47 p.m. (PT) and fully resolved the issue by 1:56 p.m. (PT) through server configuration changes.

Currant errors causing players ...

Earlier today, a portion of Destiny 2: The Final Shape was accidentally pushed live on PS5's streaming service. There are currently spoilers being shared online.

A small group of players were able to play some of the campaign, access Collections, and other reward info coming in The Final Shape and Echoes.

We recommend being very careful on social media over the next few days to avoid spoilers. Remember to exercise caution and be critical of potential misinformation. Please be considerate of others and report leaks so players can experience the conclusion of the Light and Darkness saga themselves.

Thanks to all our community members who have already helped us by reporting leaks and those actively working to prevent more of the experience from being shared before its intended date.

It's always extremely difficult when our team's hard work is leaked early, but we are still excited for everyone to experience the full release on June 4 together.
