Appreciate the feedback, we will share with the rest of the team and keep an eye on how ability cooldowns feel after all of the recent changes.

Let us know what specific abilities and builds you believe are feeling most impacted.

Hey everyone, we launched Season of the Wish yesterday and have been monitoring the conversation around what you’ve been enjoying and what you haven’t. We’ll start things off with the Starter Pack, which is not something bringing joy.

Which is why we’ve pulled it from stores.

We’ve heard your concerns and agreed that there are other parts of Destiny 2 that new players should want to dive into first before chasing these Exotic weapons, cosmetics, and upgrade materials.

Blind Well

We’ve heard you that asking players to go back to the Blind Well as part of the first week’s story is a sore spot. One of our goals here was to make sure players knew from the start that there’s increased difficulty and new loot to earn in this activity.

You won’t need to go back every week. Players will only be asked to return to the Blind Well once in Week 6, and it will be an opt-in activity after that for the rest of the Season.

Even if they up the rewards to drop an engram per match, it’s still 5 matches per focus which still sucks and looks like an overall downgrade from legendary shards focusing. For ritual vendors it might work with those drop rates but we’ll see.

After publishing this week's TWID we learned that some focusing info was outdated. We've now got it all updated here!

Looks like abilities preview (hopefully including stasis) will be next week wednesday then.

Also surprised that the new exotic is part of season of the wish, though it was going to be a final shape exotic.

We'll talk about Abilities and Exotic Armor changes next week!

But on the other hand, this takes me one step close to D1 Combined Arms, and I'm here for it.

Now just gimme back Pikes and Interceptors too. And a Drake Tank. I want to roll around with a Drake Tank on Disjunction. It might actually make that map playable.

Edit: Unrelated, but this PvP Strike team is really making themselves known and I appreciate it. Completely removing Rift from the game for now thanks to feedback, immediately moving Countdown Rush into Competitive just after one season of it being in Labs, we're already getting another new game mode (Sparrows) plus a refreshed map returning into the game, plus constant Checkmate tuning on a near-weekly basis like wtf that's so unheard of. And, Checkmate Countdown, Checkmate 3v3, and even a week of Checkmate Trials. They're gen...

Glad you like some of the changes coming. We are definitely working to tune a lot of things across PVP quickly. Appreciate everyone being patient as it takes time, but we have a lot of great changes coming in Season 23.

As you may have noticed, some Exotic armor changes coming in Season 23 were shown a little earlier than anticipated and we wanted to take a moment to clarify a few things.

What has been shown is not the full scope of Exotic armor and tuning changes coming next Season. The unintended preview is a small part of larger tweaks on the way, for all classes, that we're excited to share soon.

While the descriptions of some of the Exotic armor were updated, it's important to remember that they will continue to function as they did prior to the launch of the v7.2.5 update that went live on Oct. 17 with the exception of Young Ahamkara's Spine and Antaeus Wards, which were part of the mid-season tuning update.

For those interested, here are the six Exotics that were included in the early reveal that will have no changes to behavior before Season 23:

  • Shards of Galanor
  • St0mp-EE5
  • Mechaneer's Tricksleeves
  • Celestial ...

Hey Guardians! Thank you so much for the love and support. We know this one has been impactful, but glad to see a lot of you had some fun with it. It's been fun watching some of these franken-weapons come to life. Feel free to share some of your favorites.

Destiny Weapons and Economy teams here! We feel the same way, and are excited to mention that foundry weapon focusing is making a permanent return in Season 23!

Greetings Guardians of Reddit. We would like to hear from all you PVP players out there on what kinds of changes to the Crucible you would like to see in the future. We have a short update from the team on our PVP plans going live in the TWID shortly calling for everyone to share their feedback to help us prioritize what changes we work on to continue to improve the Crucible experience. Whether it’s playlist preferences, matchmaking settings, Trials, Comp, or anything else that affects the way Guardians battle each other, please post your feedback below.

Appreciate the feedback on being able to favorite a tab to open other than the main quest page. No promises on a date yet but this is definitely something we hope to add in the future.

Currently working on a temporary fix targeted for next week while we finish the more permanent fix. Temporary fix will let you switch loadouts from your inventory but not from your vault.
