Sorry @Torxen, I missed this. Thank you for uploading your launcher.log, everything looks as it should.

Admittedly, you’ve exhausted a lot of options, and I’m not sure what else to recommend. There will be some sort of niche driver or hardware compatibility issue, but it’s hard to know where to start.

The information in the logs does not point us in any direction unfortunately.

I’m happy to refund Vermintide 2 for you, if that’s an option you’d be interested in.

Thanks both, we’re looking in to it!

It appears to be calling AMD libraries because, as a TLDR, it relates to CPU architecture and instruction sets. The 64-bit version of the x86 instruction set was designed by AMD, called x86_64, or sometimes amd64.

This is most certainly driver-related. The last couple of updates from NVIDIA have been particularly problematic, so I can only recommend rolling back to an older version right now.

Sorry to see you’re experiencing an error. We usually see the SSL_CONNECT_ERROR when a player is either:

  • Using a VPN
  • Has made manual changes to the PC’s hosts (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)
  • Uses an ISP which has enforced security (most common in Turkey and Russia)

Could any of these be the case for you?

Could you send me the URL to your Steam profile, please? I believe this may be a backend-related issue.

You could try deleting the problematic DLL, and then proceeding to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option in the hope that it replaces the problematic DLL with a clean new one.

Is this still an issue for you @Mashiro_Kawaii? Sorry we missed your post, it had no category set.

Sorry we missed this @Sqwall, your post had no category set so we didn’t clock it. Is this still an issue for you?

Are you launching the ‘Modded’ realm? If so, allow the ‘Official’ realm to load in completely, and then switch back to the ‘Modded’ realm.
