I queried this with development and was met with the response that this is intentional if the Minotaur performs a Slam attack. Could this be what happened to you?

Sorry to hear this, could you please upload the associated console log also?

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names

Was this worse within the last 12ish hours? As both Steam, and our backend, have experienced some disruption.

The Wwise spam is audio-related, our developers are aware. It needs to be resolved promptly, as it’s producing HUGE console logs for players.

Could you try the normal UI for maybe one map, see if it runs any better?

It looks like your installation is incomplete/corrupted, please ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam
