Apologies for the delayed response. This crash has since been addressed, please let me know if you have any problems.

Apologies for the delayed response, I’ll ping this over to the developer that handles the Chroma integration.

Hmmm, I apologise but admittedly I’m not sure what to recommend here. I think the best option would be to reach out to Easy Anti-Cheat directly: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/contact/tech/

Sorry to hear this Verizal, should this occur again please include the crash report produced.

Is this still an issue for you? Could you upload a console log that corresponds with a session where this has occurred, please? Your console logs can be located using the instructions below:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

The Connection Timeout error is unfortunately often router or ISP-related. For debugging purposes, could you hook your PC up to a mobile data connection to see if the error persists?

Comment

The recommendation above should work, but you can also try hosting (and completing) a Weave yourself.

Could you upload the associated console logs, please?

Looks to be related to your VRAM. Could you please ensure your ‘Virtual Memory’ is set to ‘Automatically manage paging file size for all drives’ by:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel > System and Security
  2. Select ‘System’
  3. Select ‘Advanced system settings’
  4. Under the ‘Advanced’ tab, select the ‘Settings’ button underneath ‘Performance’
  5. Select the ‘Advanced’ tab
  6. Select the ‘Change’ button underneath ‘Virtual memory’
  7. Ensure the ‘Automatically manage paging file size for all drives’ checkbox is marked
  8. Restart your PC

Locking post as I’m not comfortable with where this is headed. Much love.

This is unrelated to the OP’s crash and has been addressed in 2.0.3.1 which was released some minutes ago.

Unfortunately, the crashes you’re experiencing - which are called Access Violations - can occur for a variety of reasons. They’re usually a result of something local, but to start with I’d recommend that you try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu down to 6.

If unsuccessful, I’d recommend that you run through our solutions listed here . You can skip any you’ve already attempted of course.

Looks like your GPU is running out of usable VRAM here, I’m aware you’ve updated your GPU drivers but was it a clean re-installation? Instructions on how to do this can be seen here.

That’s odd, I wondered if somehow a challenge from a DLC you didn’t own had completed, but that can’t be the case!

Could you try deleting your Vermintide 2 appdata directory please?:

  1. Press Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire ‘Vermintide 2’ directory

Please be aware it may reset your video options, and you may be prompted to re-run the prologue!

Sorry to hear this. Could you please upload perhaps 5 your most recent console logs? Your console logs can be located using the instructions below:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
