Which platform are you playing on @DeFran?

Could you try switching to DirectX 11 within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu, and see if there’s any improvement?

Changed the section for you. Could you please ensure your user_settings.config is not set to ‘Read Only’ by:

1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Enter %appdata% and select ‘OK’
3. Navigate to \AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2
4. Right-click ‘user_settings.config’
5. Select ‘Properties’
6. Ensure the ‘General’ tab is selected
7. Ensure the ‘Read Only’ checkbox is not checked

Consider it a happy accident…

Content delivery is handled by the Steam client, so please reach out to Steam Support as they will be best suited to assist.

No update here unfortunately, it’s pretty quiet at Fatshark at the moment with the Swedes being on vacation and that.

Please include the crash report produced should this occur again.

This will resolve on its own, with a restart of the Steam client. Sometimes, multiple restarts are required.

Hi @SoppyHound_ZA, some of our South African players have had issues with this error in the past, but it seems to be sporadic.
