@Frozzard At what point does the error appear, and is it the same error seen in the screenshot above?

@Sly-Fox-Neo This should now be resolved for you. Please let me know if you have any problems.

Please pardon my last message in which I said this was ISP/router related - it’s not - it’s an issue on our part and will be addressed with the next patch. Apologies for the inconvenience.

This appears to be caused by the UI Improvements mod.

Sorry to hear about this. Please see our article on the COULDNT_RESOLVE_HOST error here: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360034122074--PC-How-to-resolve-COULDNT-RESOLVE-HOST-errors

In this case there does appear to be some mods enabled, and the crash is related to one of your UI mods. Worth double-checking.

Hey! We at Fatshark don’t have any involvement with Apex Legends, but I can see the error produced is DirectX-related. Try performing a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers.

Thank you for the update - will keep this in mind for anybody else experiencing the same.

It appears your account is corrupted in our backend, consequently producing the error you’re experiencing.

I’ve raised this with our Backend Engineer, but unfortunately most of the company is on vacation due to the holiday season so it’s possible he may not be able to look in to this until the 6th of January.

I’ll be sure to let you know once we’ve sorted this out. Sincerest apologies for the inconvenience.

If I’ve understood correctly, it will appear once the weeklies have refreshed. Not ideal I know, and something we need to take into consideration.

Must admit I’m stuck on what to recommend here. If you’re a NVIDIA user, try the NVIDIA Control Panel -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings, and play around with the options for Vermintide 2. Perhaps somebody from the community can help here.

Comment

Sorry to hear this. The error does seem to be referencing a NVIDIA DLL.

A clean driver re-installation is what we would recommend here, which I’m aware you’ve already tried.

If your hours played is less than 2 hours, you can request a refund directly via Steam. Otherwise, please send me the URL to your Steam profile and I can ask our Community Manager to submit a refund request to Steam.

Please try lowering your ‘Worker Thread’ count within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu down to 6, and see if there’s any improvement.

Could you please send me the URL to your Steam profile, so we can look in to this?

Comment

It should be but I believe there was some delay involving Easy Anti-Cheat which made it still usable, if I remember correctly. I don’t know the specifics, I’ll have to chase it up when our mod man is back at work.

Does the notification persist even if you equip the weapon?

Comment

Which GPU do you have, and which Anti-Virus/Firewall are you using?

Comment

This should have been addressed in the patch, perhaps it wasn’t merged. Will re-open the issue internally.
