Try running a Selective Startup on the problematic PC and see if the issue persists:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC
  6. Launch Vermintide 2 as normal

Thank you, I’ve raised this with development.

Sorry about this, we’re looking in to the DirectX 12-related crashes and I’ve added your crash log to the internal report. In the mean time, please continue to play using DirectX 11.

Are you using a VPN or anything else that could be interfering with your connection?

Have you recently made any changes to your computer’s hosts? (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

I ask as changes to the hosts can result in this error for players that aren’t based in Russia or Turkey.

If not, I’d recommend that you scan your PC for viruses and malware.

This is very odd. Has he tried to ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ instead of reistalling?: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360021233534--PC-How-to-Verify-Integrity-of-Game-Files-via-Steam

Additionally, which Anti-Virus/Firewall is he using?

Should be sorted now - let me know if you have any problems.

Thank you for the URL. I believe some data in your account is corrupted and consequently resulting in the errors you’re seeing.

I’ve passed this on to our Backend Engineer who can hopefully address this tomorrow - I’ll be in contact.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

This is an error produced by our anti-cheat service, Easy Anti-Cheat. If you haven’t already, please repair Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat

Furthermore, please ensure the appropriate Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions are in place for both Vermintide 2 and the Easy Anti-Cheat service.

Lastly, please check that the Easy Anti-Cheat service is enabled by:

  1. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator
  2. Enter the command:
    services.msc
  3. Locate Easy Anti-Cheat within the list and double-click it
  4. Change ‘Startup Type’ to ‘Manual’
  5. Save your changes

If the above solutions are unsuccessful, I’d recommend you reach out to Easy Anti-Cheat directly: ...

Unfortunately I believe the only solution here would be to perform a clean re-installation of Vermintide 2: https://support.fatshark.se/hc/en-us/articles/360034118394--PC-How-to-perform-a-clean-re-installation-of-Vermintide-2

I’m assuming you’ve already verified your installation via Steam?

Unfortunately it’s very hard to determine what could be causing persistent data corruption errors as it’s a particularly mysterious problem which we’re still in the process of learning about.
