Unfortunately most RGB controllers are blocked by our anti-cheat provider (Easy Anti-Cheat) due to their use of old, exploitable drivers.

I’ve previously asked if they could be whitelisted, but they couldn’t honour my request due to the reason above.

Sadly there is no known workaround for this, we can only recommend any RGB controllers are disabled prior to launching Vermintide 2.

This issue will be addressed in our upcoming patch. Apologies for the inconvenience.

We have a patch coming hopefully by the end of the month that will address the a lot of issues on the PS4. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Unfortunately your GPU appears to be crashing. Could you try switching to DirectX 11 within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu, and see if there’s any improvement?

Which Anti-Virus are you using @mglines?

Comment

Firstly, please lower your ‘Worker Thread’ count within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu down to 6, and see if there’s any improvement.

If you haven’t already, could you please try:

  1. Remove the ‘Certificates’ directory located here:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\EasyAntiCheat
  2. Then, proceed to repair Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located here:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat

You may be prompted to Verify Integrity of Game Files on launch. Keep me posted!

Could you please provide us with the console log that corresponds with this session? Your console logs can be located using the instructions below:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs

Timestamps within the log names should help you identify which log is required. Thank you!

I believe we’ve already spoken on the Steam discussions? In which case the crash log indicates the drivers are corrupted.

Did you try rolling back to an older driver version? Ultimately that may be the only instant solution here, until Nvidia release a newer driver.

Please copy and paste a crash report in here, and we’ll look in to it.

That looks like an issue in our code with the voice chat. I’ve raised it with development, but it looks like you’re the only person to have ever experienced that particular crash so consider it unlikely to occur again!
