Could you please see if this also occurs using DirectX 11? Your DirectX version can be switched within the launcher’s ‘Settings’ menu. This would really help us out!

The PC crashing or becoming unresponsive usually indicates a hardware or driver issue of sorts, as Vermintide 2 operates in protected memory and should never be able to directly crash the PC. Due to it’s demanding nature, it could be highlighting a hardware or driver instability. Please see our list of recommendations below.

Yeah, I believe this is the case.
I’ve been informed that this is working as intended, we don’t have a way around it at current. It produces an explosion on hit the same way a Grenade impact would, thus doesn’t generate THP.
You’re correct in that this is GPU-related, we have some other potential solutions for this issue listed here.
This is a mod-related crash. Please disable your mods until the mod authors have released updates for them to be compatible with the latest patch.

Could you elaborate please - is there an invisible wall blocking your path, or is it the case that one of the walls has no collision (can be walked through, etc.)?
One of our Game Designers has confirmed this has always been the case and is not a bug.
Woah, I had no idea it was even possible to do that as a non-dev user, we’ve sorted that out now.
Anyhow, I’ve raised the original issue with development.
Turns out it wasn’t Hedge, so must have been somebody from development. Will look in to it.
