I’m wondering if this was due to matchmaking/server issues at the time of posting.

Just to confirm, is this still the case or has this issue resolved for you since?

This could perhaps be due to your CPU being under stress, or a connectivity issue. You may find solutions here helpful:

Appears to be a Deadlock crash, which are a little notorious to identify the cause of.

If this is a regular occurrence, then I recommend to perform a Selective Startup, which help identify whether a background application is the cause of your error:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC

If the error no longer occurs after having performed the Selective Startup, try re-introducing your programs one-by-one to determine which is causing your issue.

Does the issue persist after restarting both your PC and Darktide?

It may also be worth Verifying Integrity of Game Files -

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify the Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

If the issue remains, could you please provide us with a screenshot, user_settings.config file, your launcher log and console logs:

Hi @TuRRi,

I’ve checked your account, and can see that the Forgotten Relic Pack DLC is active on your account and that all of the expected weapon blueprints were added to your inventory on November 14th.

Please ensure that you are using appropriate classes when trying to craft the weapons.

  • Trollhammer (Ironbreaker, Outcast Engineer)
  • Spear and Shield (Mercenary, Huntsman, Foot Knight)
  • Griffon-Foot (Witch Hunter Captain, Bounty Hunter, Zealot)
  • Coruscation Staff (Battle Wizard, Pyromancer, Unchained)
  • Moonfire Bow (Waystalker, Handmaiden, Shade)

It’s a shot in the dark, but does Verifying Game File Integrity make any difference?

Hi @Fuel_King,

Please ensure you have Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions in place for Darktide.

It may also be worth trying a Selective Startup, which can help identify whether a background application is the cause of your crashes:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
