@Frager, the developer has asked for a couple more things if possible please

Are you playing on a computer where someone else has played Vermintide 2 recently?
Or, was the game installed from someone elses account?

Could you list, or provide a screenshot of your DLC in Steam?
(Please scroll and include all DLC listed)

To do so:

  1. Open Steam Library

  2. Scroll down to Vermintide 2, right-click and select ‘Properties’

  3. Select the DLC menu

Thank you again!

Nice one, thank you!

I’ll update you when I hear back from our Backend Engineer.

Comment

Thanks! I’ve requested for one of our Backend Engineers to take a look at this.

Could you also please provide your ‘vermintide2_launcher.log’ file and console log after trying to play and running into this error?

The path to the logs should be similar to:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2

Thanks!

Hi @InsaneScientist

As with your post about Trapper behaviour, the development team is looking into this, but have asked for any more information or a video clip, if you have one? Thank you!

Comment

Hi @InsaneScientist,

The development team is looking into this, but have asked if there are any further information about this - or a video clip perhaps, that you can provide? Thank you!

Hi @Harridas,

If possible, could you please provide the console log from the session this happened?

I appreciate that it might be difficult to pinpoint the exact log now - so no worries if not!

No problem  the info is much appreciated! I’ll pass this on to development and see if we can reproduce it. Thanks again!

Did you happen to get a recording of the audio bug happening? would be very helpful to see/hear it. Though, no worries if not!

Curious as to what headphones/headset you use and any software? and your sound card and audio driver version.

You can check your audio driver version by:

  1. In your Start Menu search bar, search for ‘Device Manager’ and select it
  2. Select ‘Sound, video and game controllers’
  3. Right click on your sound card and select ‘Properties’
  4. Select the ‘Driver’ tab to see the ‘Driver Version’ details

Thank you!

Hi @aldy_rabe,

Thank you for the reports!

Can I just confirm, were these crashes all experienced when exiting and closing the game itself?

The GUID strings allow for us to search up data and logs for the crashes using our internal tools.

If you want to view some of this information in the logs yourself, you can find your console logs by navigating to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs

You can then locate crashes in logs by using CTRL+F and searching for <>
