Hi @jamesytl,

I can see you’re encountering an Access Violation crash and have a Ryzen CPU.

I recommend to try lowering your ‘Worker Threads’ count to 6.

This crash appears to mod-related, and I think that Simple UI may be the culprit here as the crash report references this several times. Could you please try disabling this?

Thanks for the update and for posting how you solved it @ChronicleDude

Glad you were able to get it sorted!

Alrighty, let us know your findings!

We use Steam’s protocol, so it’s likely to be something in your Steam options that may need tweaking still.

Hmm, are you able to communicate over VoIP with any other games/applications?

Hi CC,

Sorry for the delayed reply. I’ve unfortunately been unable to wrangle a game engine dev’s time for an in-depth explanation here, though I’ve been told that the settings mostly revolve around the size of textures and volumetric settings for lighting. Apologies that this is a very thin answer!

Hi @crofft,

Could you be playing on ‘Modded’ realm instead of ‘Official’ realm?

As experience is not earned while playing on Modded. This can be set from the Vermintide 2 launcher.

Hi @johnox97,

It appears to be a non-descript Access Violation crash, which can occur for a number of reasons. Unfortunately we can’t determine the exact cause from the crash data alone.

I recommend running through our general ‘go to’ solutions, and hopefully the cause can be indentified by a process of elimination.

Hmm, still the same driver error. @Honk could you perhaps try rolling back to an older driver version?

Hi @Honk,

The following error indicates a problem with your GPU drivers.

DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR

I appreciate that you performed a clean driver install already, but in this instance I recommend to try doing this again.

Sorry about that @Cpl_Punishment :frowning:

This particular crash is on our radar. I’ve passed your logs along to our development team to aid with investigation - thank you!

Hi @DaiBiao,

The log doesn’t provide a clear indication of the cause, but I suspect the crashes may be mod-related. Could you please try disabling any mods and check if the crashes persist?

It may be a case of re-enabling your mods one by one to determine which is the culprit.

Hi @damon1350,

This could be an issue with the drive. I recommend taking a look here:

No problem - I’ve sent you a message

For future, you should be able to select a user’s name or profile icon/image on a post, and a ‘Message’ option should be available in the pop-up.
