Not a dev, but that’s probably because you can’t take damage inside the keep to trigger it. In a mission Numb To Pain doesn’t trigger stacks if you vent from the grey zone, either.

Correct - it’s triggered from taking damage from venting

Hi @Mennir,

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately it sounds like the issue runs a little deeper if you’re experiencing regular BSOD crashes. We’re limited in the support we can provide as we’re unable to advise on Windows-related errors.

That said, if you haven’t already, I recommend checking out this article and running through all of the steps here:

Thanks for providing the host and client logs! This particular crash is on our radar, so I’ll pass these along to help with investigation.

Thanks for the report - it appears to be related to the UI Improvements mod.

As stacks appear to be visible to others, to echo the above, are you using any UI mods?

Hm, okay :frowning: Your recent crash report is another GPU crash.

As you’ve exhausted all of our usual solutions I’m at a bit of a loss. I’m happy to contact Steam and request that they issue you a refund - let me know if this is something you’d wish to do. Apologies that I can’t be of more help!

Hi @Bearwarwithbear,

I’ve noticed you’ve made a few posts - each crash report is indicating that your GPU is crashing.

To confirm, have you tried running through all of the solutions we’ve recommended here?

Ah okay! :open_mouth: I’ll add this information and your log to our database and we’ll take a proper looksee. It’s possible that there’s a bug lurking here.

Just queried this, and yep! End events disable vote-kicking to prevent griefing and denying players loot. I can appreciate that disbanding can cause a similar problem though.

Were you at the event stage of the level?

Also, just to correct my post above (please disregard that), you should be able to votekick with any number of players. 2-players is a special case, and a host can immediately kick the client.

I’m not too sure as to how they were able to rejoin you… I wonder if it was possible to rejoin via Recently Played With, despite being blocked ...

Sorry to hear that @OrsonMaxwell :frowning:

I believe that for the vote kick option to be available, 3+ players must be in a game. Is it possible that only the two of you were present when you attempted to kick this player?

Of course, I can appreciate that this isn’t ideal for just two players when you are faced with having to disband and lose your progress. I’ve passed this feedback along for discussion.

I’d also recommend blocking this player via Steam to prevent being matched with them in future games.

Hi @MikeStyles27,

Sorry about that. So we can take a look under the hood, could you please provide your console log from this session? Thanks!

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Vermintide 2\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names

As above, we made a recent change requiring click and hold to purchase. Could this be why?

Thanks for the report @Xanoth, we’ll look into this!

It’s unlucky but intended. That being said, if spawn triggers happen together, let’s say on top of level events and stack up to be something ridiculously nasty then we’re always happy to take a look at it and change trigger points if necessary.

If anyone comes across a scenario like that and can pinpoint and report exactly where it happened in a level that would be ideal

Hi @Dakka1212,

Ah yep, if you can play fine on Modded realm it indicates the issue is EAC related.

When the game crashes are any errors displayed on screen to you? If so, could you detail those, or provide a screenshot please?

I’d recommend trying a Selective Startup, to identify if a background application is interfering and being flagged up.

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC

If the crashes no longer occur, try re-introducing your programs one-by-one to determine which is the culprit.

Hi @Pawsitivity,

This crash appears to be mod-related. Could you please try disabling the Simple UI mod?
