So the real question, which are you!?

Please do not necro old threads.

In these situations it is better to post a new thread detailing your concern.

Fem,

Totally get it.

All good :) I never take these kinds of things personally unless it is something that directly comes from me, or is on my opinion (or in the case of the other day, I just write the wrong thing lol - I'm human too).

This is me saying it is 100% our intention to fix the operation and bring it back in a decent timeframe.

I'm here to help, its not a problem.

Once again, PR and Dockyard were developed by teams that are not related to game modes and PvE. We could've put them on the PvE team, but they'd be as useful as I would be at finding bugs in a code (unless its HTML, I'm hopeless at code). As it is, we just do not see demand for PvE content enough to spend sizable resources on it to get the fixes and changes made that the community desperately wants.

I will say this year, we are shifting focus to try and address more of the pain points that the community has in the game, including some long-requested features ...

I think it may mean: Experienced players who have collected large numbers of ships in their Ports will have the opportunity to select the ideal ships for particular missions, and thus complete the Directives faster.

In update 0.9.1 all RN CAs will become researchable in the Techtree as a standard ship. Any early access ship you received will be converted to a standard version and you may proceed researching the line from there. For example, if you received the T7 from early access, you could grind from it into the T8 without needing to research the T5/6

Maybe we are going for a new approach this year... you never know (or you won't until sooner to Halloween).

Either way, it comes back to demand for content. On this I'm not actually sure, but Halloween PvE content may be more popular and thus the resource we get to allocate for it. I don't know. Ultimately today after all of you guys have voiced your opinion I am aware there is a dedicated crowd who does enjoy and live in the PvE content.

Fem,

As in when bots move, where they move, and what triggers what :P

Happy to do my best. I'm sorry the answers aren't always what you want to hear, but I will strive to get you them in a timely manner.

Fem,

Minus the fact we are fixing something that is broken currently and being complained about by Co-op players?

My boy dammed if you do, dammed if you don't ;)

I do understand, ultimately if we had infinite resources we would develop everything all the time. Unfortunately we don't.

Fem,

I've already addressed "Mercy Rule" today....

Different teams work on different areas of games. Modelling department doesn't make maps or work on PvE.

Fem

Please recall that CV rework saw the removal of AI Bots, which was restored in update 0.8.6, at the same time Raptor Rescue was restored. After that the PvE teams were working on assets for Halloween 2019. The team has some space now so they are going in and fixing Narai due to the recently discovered issues.

Fem,

"Mercy rule" isn't a factor that is limited to PvE however is more prominent in. Removing this condition would separate the internal structures for the game modes, which would cause issues for future development. While its not, not an option, we'd like to explore other options before this to avoid blockers in development in the future.

Fem,

This seems to be the question of the day for me lol.

So both of these operations heavily featured CVs, when update 0.8.0 was released, and the change to CVs was released, this required us to pull all AI related CV items. Since then it wasn't until update 0.8.6 until the base programming of AI bots were returned and became available at this time we also brought back Raptor Rescue. Following on from this our PvE teams worked on Halloween Content.

So, they were removed because they were no longer compatible with the CV rework. Our intention is long term to bring them back to the game, however there is no timeline on this as the PvE resources are limited.

Fem,

As I mentioned, its not as simple as just pulling CVs from them. To pull CVs from them they would still need to be redesigned, in the same way they need redesigning currently.

The UU for Moskva will remain in the game. It will be released in future in a similar way to the other UUs via the RB - I dont have the specifics as to how, how much, etc yet.

If I had information on it I would provide you it. Unfortunately I don't.

Narai is being pulled with a hopeful return in 1-2 patches. Thats all the information I have for you at the moment.

Fem,

We are pulling it so we can make the changes and bring it back. We believe the required changes to it while are enough to pull it for fix, are small enough that the team can complete the needed fixes.

Our initial timeline hope for its return is a patch or two.

Fem,

Unfortunately I cannot reveal the statistics specifically at this time, but yes, even with the seasonal bump from events, co-op still only provides for a small slice of the player base.

This would still require redesigning of the whole operation so it really doesn't fix the issue of resources to get it done.

Fem,

I would agree with you, expect for the fact that the steel ships are not designed to be OP or have unbalanced strengths over TT ships.

As with all ships in the game, paid, tech tree, coal, steel, fxp, they are all designed to be balanced against the ships they can see. With Strengths and weaknesses.

WoT and WoWS are managed by two completely separate teams and developed separately. Just because something happens in Tanks, doesn't mean it'll happen in ships and viceversa.

As with all lines that get released in the game, we endeavor to balance them all within a certain range, while making the lines diverse and interesting. It should be noted, that while this is another RU line, seeing a split on a CA line is not new, both USN and RN CAs were split before RU CA split was being conceived.

It should be noted, that while announced with particular stats, these are very much WIP and subject to change.

So while we may seem we are introducing a lot of new ships, this does not mean we are neglecting other areas of the game. Typically speaking the people who are designing, modelling and developing new ships, are not the same people who work on "player pain points", game modes, etc. We have multiple teams working on different area...

Unfortunately negative.

These operations are currently disabled since they are not compatible with the current state of the game - mainly how CVs now operate. These modes were impacted by the changes in 0.8.0 and as yet, have not been amended for the new gameplay. We're hoping the downtime for Narai will be minimal. If we had these operations ready to go, we would've had them reenabled already.

Fem,

No, it wasn't forgotten, we are well aware of the PvE community's desire to have this operation brought back. Right now it comes down to resources. As mentioned above, Cherry Blossom does have issues with the planes and how they are configured for the operation, something that hasn't been redesigned for the rework - its not a case of AA.

Currently due to the limited popularity of PvE content, resources have been scaled in relation to this. As such, we don't have much to work on this content, it is being worked on, just slower than what you'd all like - just the way it is unfortunately. So the return you'll probably give me; "Why are you fixing Narai now then?". We believe the fix for this mode "should" be pretty straight forward as as such we can provide a small QoL improvement to our PvE players, while we continue to chip away at longer term projects.

Fem,
