Hey folks, while your feedback is super important and we love to hear to it. The player support email and any support tickets are designed for just that, support.

The player support team gets a lot of tickets and its very helpful to keep the ticket queue for players in need of suport.

If you have feedback and idea like this, reddit and discord are the best places! Saw this post and planned on passing it along as a concept.

Hey Huntcaller, I cant get into details just yet, but we have some Switch news coming out in the near future. Hopefully, when this comes out it will address some of yours and the community's concerns.

We’ve seen an increase in mobile players getting kicked from Fortnite Mobile matches. We don’t support versions of Fortnite from unauthorized download sources. Make sure you’re only downloading from legitimate Fortnite APKs sources: Epic Games app or the Samsung Galaxy Store.

We're investigating an issue that is causing players to receive an error message titled "Invalid variant" when equipping the Boundless set that has had the style edited.

Hey thanks for the report, is this happening every time you equip it? If so could you do it one more time, have the error occur and then report the bug under the feedback tool. Would be really helpful for our team to take a look at the logs.

In most cases players are going against other mobile players. It is all based on skill-based matchmaking. Prior to SBMM, crossplay did cause a lot of mobile players to get into lobbies with consoles and PC. With the changes to the system most mobile players are going against other mobile players with an occasional console/PC player in the lobby.

This is all based on SBMM, meaning that those players on console and PC that get into your lobbies are near the same skill level. Now if you are an extremely good mobile player, it is likely you could be placed into higher-level games and could see more non-mobile players.

Hey Isaiah, is it possible for you to screen capture/record this and post a video of the issue so i can send over? It makes it easier for our team if we have any screenshots or videos to view.

u/FreighttrainUSA, normally this is handled by collision detection, which sometimes seems to work a bit, and then it just passes a certain threshold and moves right through the legs. Of course, there's lots of issues like this with knives, potion flasks and hair clipping into parts of a skin it's supposed to collide with, which probably has to do with the way physics are simulated on Switch. While I understand it's unlikely we'll ever see physics on the same level as we did back in season 6, I do hope there will be some improvement to the chosen method down the road. Right now, there's so many skins that flat out look bad. Especially the clipping and gravity issues, but the jittering still annoys the hell out of me as well.

Hey Huntcaller,

Just tagging in to let you know im still seeing these issues you are reporting. Gstaff and I are having some conversations with the folks around cosmetics and the physics issues. While i can't get into specifics yet, these issues are going to take some time to fix.

We are working on a communication plan as well, so while we may be a bit quiet for now, hopefully in the near future we can be a bit more detailed with some specific plans around the community concerns for cosmetics.

Thanks for the updates as always, even if i don't respond, i see it :)

Looking into the phone booth issues!

We have discovered that this issue occurred because the Player Spawn Pad and Player Reference Device had incorrect memory costs in previous patches.

This was fixed in v15.30 which caused an increase in memory usage. We apologize for the error.
