Thanks everyone for testing! We’ve now released 0.8c, which re-enables the Social Features, addresses some feedback from the test, and makes other fixes. Read the patch notes here.

If you opted-in to testing Beta 0.8b, you will need to switch back to the default version of the game to receive the 0.8c update.

Right click on Last Epoch in your Steam library, then navigate to Properties -> Betas and select “default” from the dropdown.

This update is currently available on Steam and will be released to Standalone within an hour or two. EDIT: 0.8c is now available on Standalone.

If you opted-in to testing Beta 0.8b, you will need to switch back to the default version of the game to receive this update.

Note: Last Epoch requires a Last Epoch account for all users.

Sorry to hear you’re having this issue! If you post the crash reports for the game listed in this support article we can take a look. But, it sounds like this may be a hardware-specific issue, which means there might not be much we can do to solve it.

For clarification-- could you confirm that enabling v-sync in the settings window inside the game did not help temperatures? You mentioned that you tried lots of settings, but I want to make sure. Did you have v-sync enabled in-game after making the changes in your AMD settings?
