I thought TF18 was the Doolittle raid.

Aloha,
So very regularly we do events coinciding with historical events. It's always been that way. And rarely do we actually tie those events into playing VERY specific ships. Case in point our forum contests that I have going on, in the near future will be tied loosely to historical events.
Why do we do this? For a few reasons.
A: So that everyone that wants to participate can.
B: To give the community stuff like camouflages, crates etc..
and C: to bring awareness to our community about these historical events.
Remember this is NOT a historical simulator but in fact more of a semi-historical arcade game.

To be truthfully honest as a DD main, I see it all the time.
As @desmo_2 stated, most of the time, it's overly aggressive DD drivers...
It is often thought that DD's HAVE to get into a cap right away. As a DD main, I RARELY go to a cap right away, I like to see how my team and the enemy team is deployed then act. And in the times that my chinstrap on my helmet is a bit too tight and I push into a cap first... I typically have an adverse reaction...
The difference is, I may go NEAR a cap, or linger around a cap, until I see what is going on with my own team and the enemy team. But yes, typically its due to over-aggressive play, with little situational awareness.

Yeah, I wish I could make that a thing. But unfortunately the way the forum posts are set up we can't. Why I say have like 2-3 or more posts that you just keep copy and pasting. I used to keep word doc with them in it at first, and after awhile, just like go to a prior page and copy that text and then make it new.

Yeah, that's fine, I just don't wanna open your post and only see memes is all. But try to keep them copasetic with the forum rules and like, recruiting-related :)
